Question New 2001 1-A Teams in TCY?

I know the TCY creation process has been spread out over a long period of time, and due to that fact, I am curious as to whether the game will be completely up-to-date when it is ready for shipment. I am particularly curious as to whether the 1-A teams included in the first version of TCY will be reflective of the past season or of the coming 2001 season.

Since I'm an alumni of the University of South Florida, which makes the jump to 1-A in 2001, followed by Conference USA affiliation in 2003, I'm obviously concerned about whether it will make the cut. The same might be said for fans of Troy State, another new 1-A team in 2001.

On a related note, will TCU be affiliated with the WAC (as it was in 2000) or its new conference, C-USA? I know Jim is the only one who can answer these questions right now, and he might be past the point where these changes can be implemented, but I figure I'd bring the subject up anyway. Thanks.

Justin

I can't offer the answer you want, but I can offer you maybe some comfort in the fact, that there will be a name editor, and you could simply just change the name/city of a college that you could careless for.

I believe that I read that the single div 1-aa conference (6 teams) will come from one state of your choosing . . . I could be wrong, but check the TYC post that is floating around (it is in there for sure)

Back to the topic...

The "IAA" Conf is Fictional DI teams. If you coach in the conference, you'll be able to move up the coaching ladder based on performances at the "small school". I, myself, imagine this is the "challenge" version of the game, as opposed to taking over an FSU and dominating for the first 4 or 5 years and then falling apart.
