I'm probably going to leave my vote where it is, looks like clap is likely biting the bullet anyways. Out to work now.

Of course, it could just be a villager making a late switch for perfectly sensible reasons, and getting the brunt of the fallout when the result of the switch is bad for the village.

Again, the late switch was to try to force the tie, but I was basing it off an inaccurate count. Yes, it would be a convenient excuse for a wolf. I can't really prove that I'm being honest here until I'm killed.

Can someone help me out here? If I was a wolf, why would I move my vote at the end from Schmidty to EF? I obviously would be putting a bullseye on my back in doing so, so it had to be worth something.

Is the thinking that Schmidty is a wolf and I was trying to save him?

Is it that EF was worth sacrificing both Clap and myself for? (Clap would have to be in on it since he started the whole thing, right?)

I really can't figure out a way where what I did would be the right move for a wolf to make.

dola-

I'm out shortly until after deadline. I urge you to actually look at my actions over the last couple days rather than just the last second vote before we string up a villager. You can take comfort in the fact that you're not throwing away any special power, but you are wasting another day if I'm lynched.

Also keep in mind that the warlock is potentially out there. We also know that if that role is out there, it wasn't on Schmidty last night.

You know, after the 2 minute to deadline vote by Clap last night which broke the 4-way tie we set up, I really have no idea why there's any question who gets lynched tonight. Be ready to kick yourself tomorrow if I'm not around.

Anyway, hopefully see you guys tomorrow.

I don't think I was a random kill. I play a game where I am always a controversial player who will always be mentioned in the same breath as a wolf. I am also not a good enough player where people think they have to kill me because I provide great insight. So therefore, it is obvious that the wolves had picked up on the fact that there was a good chance that I was the seer.

The question is why? Was it because I was totally against the plan? Maybe. But I don't that was the reasoning. It had to have been my adamant defense of EagleFan (something I sort of regret, but I hate to see an innocent guy get strung up by his shoestrings). The only issue I see is the timing of it all. Clap changed his vote about 5 minutes before deadline. EagleFan was the obvious night one scan and the wolves knew that. Did the wolves plan on killing whoever came to EF's defense? I believe so.

Maybe I can buy into J23's reasoning for changing his vote. I am not sold on it yet, but I can't get away from this line of thinking about clap.

GE, I only wish you had not scanned EF that first night. He was bound to be center of the controversy and be killed soon. By scanning him, you essentially waste the scan on someone who will be out of the game soon and risk potentially exposing yourself to the wolves...both of which unfortunately happened. Sure knowing if EF is good or bad would be nice...but likely inconsequential in the long run.

I bring this up with the best intentions. It's probably the best lesson I have learned in this game, and I actually credit hoopsguy for it.

Further, hoops uses that seer role to create his CoT if I'm not mistaken, not
to necessarily clear people under suspicion. I might be off
on that info though...It's been a while since we had that conversation.

I've had a think, and I'm going to change my vote. While there's value in keeping things close, that's only useful if the information that we gain from a close vote helps us to find wolves - while I know that 'reading' claphamsa's actions and play isn't easy, there's too much to be suspicious of for me to be comfortable voting for someone else at this point.

UNVOTE J23

The fact that Rendubb and Realdeal are both voting for j23 make me think j23 might be innocent too. Was just wanting to keep it close.

The Day 1 scan is always tricky and truthfully it depends on the players playing still. I think I could have defended EF a little better and made sure he did not get lynched if it was not for the "plan".

I don't think this sort of thinking necessarily makes sense four hours before deadline. it is typical for a candidate to rise from no votes to be lynched in that amount of time, but no one is going to vote him if no one starts.

That said, I'm good with Clap going down tonight.

Gut instinct here. My vote on J23 got what I wanted, lots of discussion of his move. Not totally convinced on him yet. Thinking I'd rather lynch Realdeal but the votes are on Clap at this point so lets roll with that.

Got anything to base this on and not being wasting a vote on someone whose not even on anyone's radar? Not saying I have anything to prove me innocent either but why now?

*shrug* I see people doing this every round. Voting for someone JUST to see the discussion and backpeddling and crossvotes that stems from it. Not saying Render is cleared, but that statement goes either way.

true but other things make j23 seem less guilty who I only slightly suspected before. I've been wrong every guess this game so if I don't vote clap, maybe he'll be a wolf :P
