May 26, 3028 – ‘Eono Company arrives back home!

May 28, 3028 - Time for Contracts but we have just until July 1st, so just one month.

I get FOUR offers!

#1. The Lyrans want us to O Raid the nearby FWL world of Bondurant. We could be there on June 22, but not back in time. We’d be back July 9. This isn’t a border world, just one company is needed.
#2. The CC want us for an Extract Raid in the Drac Combine world of Sabik which is 2 jumps away. It’s 43 days away, we could be there at a Pirate Point 5 days away on June 10. We’d need our fleet to hit them, they could be there on July 5th, too late. Border world, minor planet, here for raids against LS, not that great. Just a mech company needed here too.
#3. The FWL wants us to Garrison for a year their stuff
#4. ComStar wants us to Garrison for a year. No thanks

We ask our Davion Liaison to push our navy for work in the DC to get back around July 18. They agree since that’s a target of opportunity, ditto the LS raid on Bondurant. I negotiate them.

Negotiation with LC:
We start with 180 points. I spend 50 for Full Salvage and then they don’t offer a three months, just one, 25 points pulled for 50% Battle Loss and then Strait Support too. They pull another 25 for x4 salary, 80. We grab no remuneration, 90 they go with Liaison Command and then no transport – 100, 50% signing bonus.

Negotiation with the CC: We have 198 points! We spend 50 on Full Salvage 10 to drop 3 months to 1, 25 for 50% Batte Loss and Straight Support, they spend 25 on x4 salary we are at 88. We add 10 for no Remuneration, they add Liaison and then we add 10 for no transport. 108 – 54% Signing Bonus.

Beginning of Contract #47:

June 22, 3028 – We arrive at the Zenith JumpPoint at Bondurant. There is no traffic here. There are no charging stations here.

June 27, 3028 – We land on our host and nothing can be seen. Our scouts confirm the mech company size here. We unload and arrive at their HQ to smash 70 minutes later

I lose set up dice 11-8. I set up an Atlas spear. They set up their Awesome on the left sider and the rest of their major stuff to the right.

Turn 1 – We lost init 8-6 too. I charge 5. They charge their Awesome, Clint and Hunchy and FS to. Our Spider bases their Clint. Their Commando and Cicada flank me too. I fire at that Awesome behind woods and +2 to hit. Our Stalker hits the Awesome’s RT PPC. Our Archer destroys it’s RA. It falls. Melee! Our Grasshopper legs their Locust 1M RL. It falls so does their Clint.

Turn 2 – We steal init 7-2. They eject the Locust. Their Hunch moves in I could base it with our BM. I do it. Their JagerMech comes over. Our Hopper bases their Hunch too. Their Rifleman bases our BM. Our Wolverine bases it. Their Awesome stands turns but stays there. Our TBolt bases their Commando. Their Clint rises and bases the flank of our TBolt. Our Spider by their FS. I try to bring down that Awesome! I also fire our BM, Striker and Tbolt and Hopper on their Hunchback in our LOS. Our Atlas destroys the Awesome’s RT and LT, LA on the ground. Our Grasshopper hits the Hunchback in the H and hit the cockpit, dead pilot. Our first Kill! Our Catapult destroys the Awesome CT, dead mech, we cannot salvage it. Melee! Our TBolt legs their Commando’s LL on the ground.

They lost a lance and two legged mechs they need to turn it around this turn.

Turn 3 - We keep init 11-2. They turn their Commando. Our Archer to their Centurion’s rear. Our Atas bases their Grasshopper. Their Zeus it’s flank. Our BM the Grasshopper. Our Tbolt it’s rear. Our Stalker their Zeus and FS. Our Striker to their Rifleman’s rear. Our Wolfhound falls turning on concrete by their Centurion. Our Catapult by their FS too. Our Spider by their Clint. Our Hopper by theirs! Our Wolverine is by their Rifleman’s flank. Do I focus on that Hopper and finish with kicks or others the JagerMech and then leg the Hopper? The Hopper has 26 external armor and internal is 15. With an Atlas and Bm, TB and Hopper next that’s a lot of kicks if we all stand and land them. I will split damage to try and soften its legs but then keep it standing for legs. Let’s try. Our Catapult hit the ammo on their JagerMech boom! It’s engine exploded and dropped their Rifleman, sad. No other falls, kicks? Our Catapult destroys their FS’s LL, legged! Then our Stalker kicked the LL too and it went up and destroys the LT. Our Striker gets a limb blown off LA hit on their Rifleman. On the ground. Our BM destroys their Grasshopper RL! Legged heavy mech!

They eject from the legged mechs and give us the battlefield!!!

Jenner, Panthers and Wolfhound are those. None! I spend the 800k to fix it. We get the Hunchback up and running too!

We blast out and will be back at Mallory’s World on July 15 with us of some Command Circuit help.

Beginning of Contract #48:

July 5, 3028 – ‘Eono Company and the fleet at the Drac border World of Sabik 5 days away at a Pirate Point, No one can hit us here, and then this is an Extract Raid by the CC.

July 10 – We arrive at Sabik, here there are local defenders – 2 Leopard CVs with 6 fighters each, 2 Avengers with a Union and then they’ve got an extra 6 fighters so they have:

We have:


6 Achilles
3 Leopard CVs
1 Union
32 Fighters
12 Aquarius

Nasty good stuff, we have the obvious advantage. We drop their Avengers and one Leopard CV, the other flees as well as their Union back to the planet. Can we salvage them? Yes an Avenger (tossed an 11) and not the other (7 tossed). The Leopard CV too (tossed a 12). The costs are 15 mill total which I spend now to fix up. (War chest is 50,844,199)

Battle Loss at the Planet
– We took 6 mill in damage, and we lost 6 fighters three salvage for 1.2 mill and the others were a Slayer, Riever and Shilone. (13,721,098). We also lost an Aquarius at a cost of 14,221,500. Then we can salvage five of thiers for 2.2 mil total.

We can salvage 3.6 mill from the site.

We land at the planet! We have total air superiority chasing their Union and Leopard CV back to their HQ. They are here and we unload and chase them!

For deployment we lose init 8 to 10. I set up a BattleMaster spear. Their Archer set up in the center, the Charger on the left flank and their Victor on the right with the QD.

Turn 1 – We win init 9-6. I charge 5. Their Archer charges us. Ther Jav flanks us. Ours and Locust base it. I fire at the Archer. It’s +2 to be hit. Their Jenner bases my Locust. We hit the Archer’s head a bunch, there is one left internal. The pilot blacks out and it falls and took 4 damage. Our Warhammer destroys its LL and our Goliath it’s RA. Kicks!!! All land, no falls.

Turn 2 – We steal init 3-2. Ouch sorry. I charge 5 again. Their Victor leaps over and Hunchback moves by us. Our Crusader bases their Wasp that bases my Banshee’s flank. Their QD bases my flank on our Charger, our Goliath bases it. Our Vulcan next to their Shadow Hawk. Our Jav stays next to theirs, their Jenner bases it, and then our Locust bases their Jenner’s flank. I focus on that Victor, its +1 to be hit. I need to bring it down. Our Charger destroys it’s LL. Our Dervish hit the gyro and engine once each and our Jav the gyro twice more destroyed gyro!!! Our BM falls. Hand to hand!!! Our Crusader hits and destroys their Wasp’s LL, legged mech! We kick their Jenner to the ground, no other falls or damage dealt with a hip hit.

We have taken out or legged three mechs, they need to turn this around next turn!

Turn 3 – We keep init 9-4. Our BM is open in the RL with 14 left there. Do I eject or make it a target? Eject. No cheap kills. They eject the Victor. They don’t eject the Wasp. Our Dervish bases their Centurion. Their Jenner stood and ran. I base it with my Catapult to try and leg it. Their Charger moves. I cannot base it. Our Charger bases their Hunch. Our Goliath bases their Chargers flank after they move their QD by us. Our Jav stays based to theirs. Our T Bolt bases their Hunch flank, but it’s flanked to, no kicks. Our CRD bases their Jenner too. Our Banshee their Hunch. I fire at it with everything that can see it and is in range. Our Catapult hits the CT and destroys it, dead mech, all parts survived. Dead mech!!! No falls, kicks time!!! Our Banshee hit the hip on their Shadow Hawk it fell , ditto our Jav to their Jav, their Jenner’s LL was destroyed by Catapult and its LT by our Crusader with travel over damage.

They flee their legged Jenner and Wasp and leave us the battlefield!!!

Got it in Wasp form, added to our garrison!!! The Jenner one? No Jenner parts at all. It’s 35 tons like Panther and FS and Wolfhound. No parts. I spend that one mill to fix and 250k to make it a Jenner JR7F. 49,594,199 left in my War Chest.

July 10, 3028 – The Capellan Liaison secures their stuff here and then we don’t get the normal salvage but no blow stuff or getting big stuff. We salvage 1.6 mill of cash, then no blow up.

We launch back to the JumpPoint we’ll get at on July 15 and then jump back home. They will Command Circuit to Mallory’s World on July 17, 3028 as soon as we hit Lyran space.

Avenger, Assault/Escort DropShip named “Goliath” (an Avenger), captured In the DC system of Sabik.

Leopard CV – fighter carrier carrying 6, empty captured In the DC system of Sabik. We named it “Panthera Pardus Kotiya” (the Sri Lankan Leopard, that’s the last living subspecies.)

May 29, 3028 – Oitavo Company arrives at Galatea.

June 13, 3028 - We need another JumpShip as I showed before. If I can get another Star Lord that’d be great! I toss a 9, done, that’d enough for a Monarch.

Meet our Jump!!!!!:

Star Lord JumpShip – 6 DropRings, has space for 4 Small Craft we bring in 4 Aquarii. Named “Milky Way.”

June 26, 3028 - Nove, Our navy and Arba and Stieben arrive at Mallory’s World.

June 27, 3028 – Vee #6 and Khamésh Company arrive at Mallory’s World.

July 1st, 3028 – We sign our new contract and all units at Galatea are Command Circuited to Mallory’s World our home to get ready.

Negotiation with the FS
: We have 200 points, we spend 50 for Full Salvage (150) and they do a year, no withdraws by us. We pull 25 for 50% Battle Loss and Support. They pull 25 for x4 salary, 1.5 and 1.3. 100 left. We pull 25 for transport full, 75. They pull command rights and integrated 15 get us to 90. We do no remuneration 100. 50% signing bonus.

I figure out what our 12 month deal is now for everything for Signing Bonus cash. We agreed to be used more in a Planetary Assault means instead of just back ups and garrisons, and they like that we didn’t lose at all and agreed.

Salary of my 10 mechs and 7 for one month is 792,895 for Mechs and 430,168 for Vees – total is 1,223,063 a salary of 114,478,696 for 12 months, we get them to deposit it in an account and make cash. Our bonus is 57,239,348 which we get now, but I won’t add it, but will spend it in case it’s needed for things like survival salvage of Aerospace stuff and more.

July 15, 3028 - Deich Company arrives in Mallory’s World.

July 17, 3028 – Our big fleet and ‘Eono arrive at Mallory’s World

EVENT – August 1, 3028
– After the Helm Memory Core was found on Helm in the Free Worlds League by the Grey Death Legion on April 1st with tons of lost Star League era tech was found on April 1, they have disseminated it to all traders and states. The Star League tech era has begun.

EVENT – August 20, 3028
– On the ComStar homeworld of Terra between the major states and then in front of all major leaders and nobles, Hanse Davion is married to Mellissa Steiner, solidifying their alliance. We are not there even though many Merc leaders like Wolf’s Dragoons Jamie Wolf and Morgan Kell in the Kell Hounds with a famous CO, a Baroness XO and well-connected 3rd in command. But we are on the road.

The wedding of the century! As a wedding gift, Mellissa gives her husband a merc regiment with the ability for upkeep paid in perpetuity. Then as her gift Hanse infamously gives her the Capellan Confederation.

With that begins the 4th Succession War! We are on the Capellan Front of the war, and are in the First Wave of what is called “Operation Rat.”

And the Inner Sphere will never be the same!!!

Beginning of “Operation Rat” Wave One, Pleione:

House Davion and the Federated Suns used us to test raid places in the CC for us to assault planetarily later now. All of our test defense missions were to get ready to take these now.

August 20, 3028 – We arrive back in the Pleoine system at their Zenith JumpPoint, as a reminder this is held by the 3rd battalion of the McCrimmon's Light Cavalry. Just one. They are regular and have faster mechs.

We arrive at their JumpPoint and look around. They are defenders here of a pair of Leopard CVs and 12 fighters plus 1 Achilles with 2 more at each JumpPoint with an Invader. They unfurl to meet us. As a reminder we have 6 Achilles with 12 fighters and Aquarius plus All of our Leopards and 6 fighters plus our Avengers too. They give up light defense and then retreat and flee. We destroyed their Achilles and the rest fled. Can we salvaged it? Nope tossed a 7.

They send the same stuff form the Nadir Point to hit us at planet.

Battle Loss at JumpPoint – We took light damage of 1.4 mill. We lost 4 fighter, we can salvage 2 for 890k and then lost fighters worth 6,391,125 and can salvage their 4 for 2.15 mill

We can salvage from the destroyed Achilles 3.6 mill

August 22, 328 – We arrive at the planet and the JumpShips from the Nadir point are here to smash us good. As well as the planet’s Overlord and all local stuff good and strong.

We have against us 2 Achilles, 4 Leopard and 6 from the Overlord fighters and then an Avenger too. They have 32 fighters against our 84 plus our Aquarius and then all Achilles, Avengers, Leopard’s and more.

We take out the two Achilles and Avenger and a Leopard and the rest flee. Can we salvage any of them? We toss an 10 for an Achilles, 8 for the next 8 for the Avenger and 7 for the Leopard so we grabbed another Achilles. It’ll cost us 11 mil to fix up it was savaged. I spend it now. (War Chest is 51,865,827).

Battle Loss at Planet
– We took a heavier 3.4 mill in damage. We lost 6 fighters, three can be salvaged for 1.2 mill and then we lost three worth 13,343,400 a Riever, Chippewa and Sparrowhawk. We can salvage 5 of theirs for 2.3 mill.

We land and follow them we have full air superiority for the planet. They land and we can see them in the open here, we are going to blast them unloading our stuff. (in real life the merc mechs assigned this planet the Screaming Eagles, also with air superiority just bombed and strafed them to their base.)

This their beloved heavy assault mech called the Cataphract with 70 tons and 4/6 movement and then lighter armor at 176 and 16 heat sinks, and then for weapons it features a PPC and AC10 for long range hole punching and 4 ML, 2 rear facing for close range stuff.

We lost set up 4-11. I choose Deich and Khamésh since they each are heavy in the battle lance with an Atlas each and then 2 BMs, 2 Banshees and one an Orion and the other a TBolt. Then they have a Striker, and 2 Stalkers. 2 Grasshoppers for scouting and Archer, Catapult and 2 Trebuchets for long range mechs too. They can handle 36 mechs. My only concern is that Whitworth. I set up my Atlas’s in the middle other Assault punchies to their flank.

Turn 1 – I win init 7-6. Close!!! I charge 5. Their TBT charges us. Their Raven too. Our PXH bases it. Our Spider and TBT base their Stinger. Our Wolverine their Locust. Our Jenner by their Raven. I don’t base it with my Locust. I base their Wasp instead. Long range fire at the BattleMaster that stayed in the back right corner +0 to hit 14 away or so. Short range at their Trebuchet and Urbie and Locust. Our Von Luckner hit their Urbie’s engine three times and destroys it’s RT, RA on the ground. Their BM is hit in the head a few times, blacks out and falls. Melee! Our PXH destroys their Raven’s LL. Legged! Our TBT destroyed the RL of their Stinger, legged!

Two legged, one destroyed and one blacked out. Not a great turn for them.

Turn 2 – We win init 7-6, again, same numbers, weird…I charge 5 again. Infantry moves first though. They don’t eject the Raven or Stinger. I camp my Whitworth in woods. I eject my savaged Brutus. No cheap kills. Our BM bases a Wolverine. Our Hopper too. Our Wolverine bases their BJ’s flank. Our other Hopper bases their Stinger, Orion too. Our Striker by their Vulcan 5T Catapult too. Their Charger bases our Hopper. Our Banshee bases their Javelin and Stalker too. Our Warhammer by their FS. Our Wolfhound to their Spider’s flank. Our PXH by their Wasp, Jenner too. Locust to their SHD’s rear. Our Spider to their Locsust’s flank. I fire long range at their Victor and medium at the Charger. Our Whitworth destroys it’s RA. Our T Bolt hit its ammo, boom, dead mech!!! Their TBT -1 movements our Behemoth. Their BJ fell and the pilot blacked out.

Melee!!! Our Banshee destroys the RL of their Jav, on the ground, our Stalker it’s LL. Their Stinger kicks our BM to the ground, funny. Our Jenner destroys the Rl of their Wasp 1L. Our Orion destroys the RL of their Stinger #2. Our Banshee punches it too and destroys it’s RT and RA. Our other Stalker destroys the RL of their Spider yay! Our Warhammer legs and destroys the RL of their Firestarter. Our Grasshopper legs their Vulcan 5Ts RL. Their Wolverine fell and destroyed it’s LL.

We have legged 9, destroyed a Victor and Urbie and blacked out a BM, BJ. Do they stay with us and try to regroup or flee and regroup at their HQ? With their CO blacked out I toss a 10 they try to recover him. One more round.

Turn 3 – We keep init 10-6. Their BM didn’t wake up. I eject the savaged and hip hit BM internal I a few places no rally points. Ditto our Behemoth which has armor fine but slower. Our Stalker bases a Marauder. Our Banshee a Vindicator and our Striker too. Our Catapult by their Marauder. Our TBT to their’s rear. Our Orion and Wolverine base their Cicada. Their Wasp on my Hetzer. Our Stalker bases their Dervish and Wolfhound to it’s flank. Our Hopper their Marauder’s rear. Our other Hoper bases their Wasp on my Hetzer. Maxim and Pegasus the rear of their damaged Locust. Our Spider by the same damaged Locust as last time. Our WW and Jenner by their last Stinger. I fire long range to the Cataphract and short range to their barely hit Charger. Our Condor destroyed their Locusts’s rear C T. Dead mech! That’s her 4th kill. Our Stalker hit their gyro and engine once each on their Charger. Our Trebuchet hits theirs gryo once and engine twice. Our Warhammer hit the gyro another time, down mech! Our PXH heads their Charger. That’s her 4th kill!!! Our Archer hit their Charger’s gyro again. The Cataphract falls but doesn’t lose any bits. Melee!!! Our Catapult destroys their Marauder’s LL! Our Spider destroys their savaged Locust’s RL. Legged! Our Hopper of Grass destroys their other Wasp’s LL.

With their BJ and BM not wakey wakey, they flee back to their HQ. We capture them and turn them over to our command.

Yes 19 mechs of theirs fell!!! They have left a Thunderbolt, Catapult, Cataphract, Crusader, Quickdraw, Cicada, 1 Locust, Griffin, 3 Vindicators, Dervish, Wasp and PXH and a Stinger too. Not great.

We fix the Urbie and I don’t repair it. What about the Raven? It weighs 35 tons, don’t have it. I fix it for 250k and turn it into a Raven 2X which our other Davion folks are doing. It swaps the ECM for a LL. Stinger? No parts no payment. The legless Jav? Don’t have it, it’s 30 tons, either of those out there? Nope. I pay 500k to fix. Wasp parts? Neither. I don’t pay. Spider right leg? Nope, and none of others. I pay 300k. Firestarter RL? No parts. I pay 250k to fix. Vulcan 5T! Great salvage! It’s missing a RL. Got one? Nope! Other 40 tonners? Nope! I pay 350k to fix. Wolverine LL? Got it, it works! Added to my garrison. I fix the Charger gyro on the first try, the engine on the 4th try. So…10 days total. Got one’s head? Got one, fixed I spend 1 mill to turn it into a Charger 1A5 while fixing it up. We fix the Trebuchet in a few days total. I repair the Locust with the RL we recovered. MAD missing LL? None of them, other 75 tonners? Nope. I spent 500k we grabbed a free BJ and BM!!! Yay!

We spent total 3.15 mill for all repairs.

Meghan Reynolds in Vee Company Condor notched her 4th kill. She’s elite. +1 piloting.
Sofia Gonzalez in the Khamésh Company PXH noticed her 4th kill, and she’s also already elite. She gets edge.


Aug 22, 3028 – They flee to their HQ called Thunder Rock a tabletop ex-Star League fortress that’s beaten and battered. On the way our fighters safe, bomb and attack them. They left their Overlord, and we move to grab it with our stuff. They do not surrender and we destroy it. Can we salvage it? Tossed a 12, yup! We need 4 mill to salvage it, spend now that drops our War Chest to 44,715,827.

They arrive at Thunder Rock!

We begin a siege!

Sept. 12 - We try a few sorties but nothing doing. Our FS Liaison tells us to hot drop a big force onto the tabletop Mountain top and then enter there. We do so, and dropping are two companies of mechs that can handle them. Then around each entrance are a pair of companies in case they run for it.

I have chosen for this Flavia’s Alpha Company who could use the levels up and Oitavo Company.

We land from the hot drop, and then secure the site with two more companies here and then head in.

We arrive, this is inside the building, but no maps so I am using the Industrial City map #1 with level 2 building.

We lose set up 11-9.


Here is their Whitworth 1 a 40 tonner mech with 2 LRM10s, 3 ML, 4/6/4 movement, 10 heat sinks and then okay armor.

Turn 1 – We win init 8-7. One diff. I charge 5. Our Banshee bases a Vindicator and our Jenner it’s flank. Our Spider next to their Locust. Their Cicada fell while turning on pavement. I fire on that TDR. And then targets of opportunity. Alpha’s Awesome PPC hit the Head of their TDR and it’s down. Kill by Olivia Chaudhury!! She’s regular. We also destroy it’s RT, RL and RA so we legged it to. Our Jav destroys the based Vindicator we are based LA. Their Locust fell, Vindy didn’t. Kicks!!! Our Spider destroys the Locus’s LA. Our Banshee this the hip and lower leg on their Vindicator and it falls our Jenner misses the kick and falls. Funny!

Turn 2 - We keep into 10-8. Still by two. They try and stand the Vindicator, it falls and the pilot blacks out. Our Atlas bases another Vindicator and two BMs too. Our Jenner rises and runs behind a building. Their Cicada rises. Vulcan by their wounded Locust. Their Catapult leaps behind our line and behind our BM and to the flank of the other. I base it with our Guillotine and two Crusaders too. I fire at their Cataphract. Our Crusader from Alpha Company destroys it’s CT. Dead mech, cannot salvage. That’s Kamaka Pukui’s level up 4th kill. Melee! Our Spider destroys their Locust’s RL. Legged!! Our Crusader kicks and legs their Catapult’s RL it falls. Their Vindicator was mostly missed.

They have lost another two heavies, we legged a 3rd and a blacked out Vindicator and then legged Locust. They flee. We capture the blacked out Vindicator. We follow.

Total spent 1.7 mill. War Chest now 43,015,827

They flee out of the guarded exit into 2 companies worth of defenders. They surrender. We have captured Pleione!!! We turn them over to our Davion envoy. (This is what happened in real life by the 4th Succession War by the Screaming Eagles mercs in this attack group we have taken. They took out a company in the open from fighters they fled to their HQ, they dropped a battalion behind and destroyed another company was destroyed fleeing and then the last one surrendered.)

We will be leaving on planet a battalion for garrison until more forces rotate in. We’ll leave behind two mech (Tres and Arba) and then Vee #3. We will be here until wave one ends. Next up is Gan Singh!

Wave one is over, all planets captured!! The big target next Wave is the industrial and political world of Tukkayid. Everything else is minor.

Beginning of Wave Two, “Operation Rat”, Gan Singh Campaign:


Oct 2, 3028 – We arrive at the Gan Singh Nadir JumpPoint of with the 4th Davion Garrison force of 6 regiments to hold after we capture it. Since the Gan Singh Militia here are mostly infantry with some light vee and mech support.

At the JumpPoint are a a few Jumphips Invader and Merchant with Gan Singh Militia with a pair of Avengers, 2 Leopard CVs and then an empty ring.

They unfurl them at us. We blast them massively then they flee. We killed an Avenger, Leopard and the rest flee. I cannot recover the Avenger tossed an 7 the Leopard a 7 too cannot be salvaged.

Their JumpShips unfurl and flee. The ones from Zenith head to the planet 12 days away.

Battle Loss at the JumpPoint
– We took 5 mill damage. We lost 3 fighters, one permanently for a cost of 1,685,156 the other two can be salvaged for 860k, we can salvage three of theirs for 1.7 mill.

We salvaged there for two lost Drops 8 mill.

Oct 8 – Jumping in at a Pirate JumpPoint are more Aerospace assets to meet at the planet. They don’t want to give this planet away since its big with mines. They are bringing 12 Intruders 2 and 2 Leopard CVs.

Oct 14 – We arrive at the planet of Gan Singh.

We have better but we are going to be hit….HARD!

We win, we destroy half of their Intruders, 2 Avengers,2 Achilles, their Gazelle fled, we destroyed 2 Leopard CV and then their normal Leopard, the rest fled to various parts around the world, each looking to go to different places none following the same trajectory. We gather space and then our Fortress, Unions and Overlord follow their Gazelle to the world. The rest got away. We can recover 2 of their Intruders for a cost of 12 mill, spent now. We cannot recover their Avengers (4 and 6 tossed), we can save an Achilles (12 rolled) for 6 mill, not the other (8) and one Leopard CV for 9(the other was 2). For 10 mill, spent. I cannot recover that normal Leopard either tossed a 4. We are spending 28 mill for Leopard CV, 2 Intruders and 1 Achilles. War Chest is 15,015,827.

Battle Loss at the Planet
- We took 12 mill in damage. We lost an Avenger for a cost of 233,899,200, We lost 4 Aquarius we cannot salvage for 56,886,000. We lost 24 fighters, we can recover 12 for 12 mill and then we lost 12 for 36 mill (I am not adding up 12 values. This is a guess). We can salvage 14 of their lost 28 for 12.2 mill, I am using those to the areas we lost.

We can find here with all of the massive deaths 15 mill stuff.

Oct 14, 3028 – We follow the Gazelle down and it arrives at the local HQ with all of their stuff here. They meet us for the battle. Here are a lance of command mechs from the Leopard we destroyed and then 12 vees from the Gazelle securing the landing as well as a battalion of infantry (9 squads).

We land with our Fortress forces of one each company of vees and tanks and then attack them. The rest of our mechs and such surround them on all four sides with a company of mechs and vees on each side so they cannot flee. We also have the air superiority in case they flee up or out too.

We are sending in Alpha Company and vee #1, Flavia and Stephen’s stuff. They could use the XP.

Set – up – we lose 9-2. Ouch I set up our spear, and then their Charger is on the far left corner.

Turn 1 – We win 7-2. Ouch for them Double 2s. I charge 5. Their Condor flanks me. I base it with my Condor and Maxim. Our Hopper bases their Harasser. I fire long range at their Warhammer we can see and then short at their Condor. Their Condor -1s our movement on our Brutus. Our Crusader destroys their Warhammer’s RL. Legged! Our Jav 10F destroys the front of their Skulker. Dead tank! Our Brutus hit their Warhammer’s engine once. Melee! Our Hopper kicks and destroys their Harasser’s right side, dead tank!!!

Turn 2 – We keep init 10-7. They don’t eject their Hammer. I charge 5. Ther Partisan emerges. I eject the Brutus. Their Charger emerges too. Our Jav bases their Locust. I fire south stuff at that Von Lucker long range short at their and then north at that Charger. Their Condor stunned our Vedette for two turns. Their infantry halves the speed of our Maxim. Our Crusader destroys the Von Luckner’s front, dead tank!! Their Charger ate 9 to the Head and fell and is internal there. Melee! We land that kick on their Locust, no internal or falls.

Turn 3 – We keep init 10-5. I eject my Maxim. Our BM bases their Brutus. Their Charger rises and bases our BM. I base it with an Atlas and Banshee. Our Atlas is in his rear-arc nasty….our Hopper next to their Hunter. Our Jav stays by their Locust. Our Jenner by their Bulldog. Our Wolfhound by their Bulldog too. I fire them at the Bulldog, and then the rest at their Charger and then other good stuff. Like that Brutus to finish it off with a kick. Our Awesome 1s their Brutus’s movement. Our Atlas destroys their Charger’s LA then hits the ammo, boom, dead mech! That’s Flavia’s 8th KO! Her husband Stephen follows up by destroying their Partisan with his AC10, dead tank! Our Bulldog destroys their Bulldog’s turret, dead tank! Melle time! Can my BM finish their Brutus off probably not. We kick and drop their Locust to the ground but hit the other non-wounded left with a hip hit. They all survive.

They eject from the legged Warhammer and flee with their CO Charger and then the other two are on the ground with a missed kick by their Vindicator. They lost 5 vees and two mechs and then one is savaged. They flee to the outskirts, they see they are surrounded and then they load up in the Gazelle and then leave the Vindicator and Locust behind and try to break through our fighter and DropShip screen. We kill them, but with another 1 mil in damage and no salvaging it, tossed a 7. Their Vindicator and Locust surrender, we turn them over to the FS.

EVENT, Oct 29, 3028 – The Northwind Highlanders the elite multiple regiment mercs for the Capellan Confederation after Davion took their homeworld of Northwind have signed the “Highland Agreement” to be ceded Northwind but join the Davion side of the war. They do it and leave. Most leave CC space.

Nov 2, 3028 – Tikonov is under nominal control by the FS and then all other planets were captured easily. Next are the third wave of planets nearby. We are heading in the 3rd Wave to New Canton defended by two forces on different sides of the planet, and we are joining up with our garrison forces from Pleione and then other Davion forces too. We blast out!

Here are the 3rd Battalion of Trimaldi's Secutors for one unit to hunt down with. The 1st battalion of 4th Confederation Reserve Cavalry are here with the other to hunt down too. The 4th are in jungle heavy northern continent and then Secutors on the southern mountainous continent. I’ll send in 5 companies for the northern campaign and the rest for the southern one of 12 companies since they have tanks and such too.

We unfurl our folks and they assault us! We check. They have here at the JumpPoint 11 days away 2 Achilles and then 3 Leopard CVs with 22 fighters total.

We smash them heavy, and destroy their front fun. We destroyed three, the other two fled. We destroyed a Achilles no recovery (7 tossed) and 2 Leopard CVs. (8 and 2 tossed).

They jump out!

Battle Loss at JumpPoint – We took 8 mill in damage. We lost 6 fighters, 3 full for a cost of 12,591,413 and then the other 3 for 1.5 mill. We salvaged 6 of them for 2.2 mill for filling out that stuff.

Nov 20 – We arrive at the planet of New Canton. They have here 2 Overlords, 3 Intruders, 4 Leopard CVs, 2 Achilles and a random Union too.

Total fighters here – 38

We battle them. We defeat them save their Overlords and Union flee, and 2 Intruders. We took out the others. Can we salvage them? We toss 9 for Intruder, yep, no Leopard CV (tossed 6, 4, 6 and 3). Then two 6s for the Achilles, just the Intruder joins us. It costs 3 mill to fix up, done! War Chest is 12015827.

Battle Loss at New Canton Planet – We took 6 mill in damage. We lost an Aquarius (14,221,500) we cannot salvage, and then lost 10 fighters, we can salvage 5 for 4.25 mill and then lost 5 for 19,296,153. We can salvage 8 of theirs for 6.25.

We salvaged 20 mill from the mass wrecks here.


We have secured New Canton space and can land!!! We have total air superiority.

Beginning of the New Canton Northern Continent Flank:

Nov 20, 3028 – Arriving at the Northern Continent for the battles against the Battalion size 4th are our first 5 mech companies Alpha, Deux, Tres, Arba and Khamésh Company and five regiments of Davoin garrison forces. They do not challenge us as we land with air superiority. Scouting fighters have shown that they have fled their base into the nearby jungle and melted away. We set up camp using stuff from them as well as things we grabbed from before. There is nothing to salvage from their base they already took it. We are having one company on patrol at all times with another on reserve to launch.

Nov 22 – They launch a raid against our company on patrol, I tossed the dice and it’s our Deux Company. They have put together their 12 best strike mechs against it but due to their lack of speed they cannot chase us back out. Barring something weird, we will likely end this fast, flee and then they recover our stuff.

Here is our lighter armored Zeus 6S. A beloved Steiner assault with 4/6 movement, 17 heat sinks, and for weapons 1 LL, AC5 and LRM15 for long range and 2 ML for in stuff.



Our BV is actually better than theirs due to better pilots. I wouldn’t be surprised if we turn them back and they get shocked.

We lose set up 12-10. Ouch! I set up a spear around my Awesome, Stalker and Orion.

Turn 1 – We win init 9-8, I charge 5. I want to bring them down not get a bunch of salvage, so I target that Victor with everything hoping for a blown up mech, I cannot see their Cyclops in forests. Our Stalker hits their ammo in their Victor, boom, dead mech!

Turn 2 – We keep init 9-3. I charge 5. My Stalker bases their Hatchetman, Orion too. Our Awesome too. Their Cyclops stays in it’s spot. They don’t base me. I cannot fire all of my staff at the Cyclops. Their TBolt? Banshee? BM? I do the TBolt. Our Enforcer destroys it’s CT, dead mech! Good job Evan! Melee! Can we leg their Hatchetman? Our Orion destroys it’s LL, our Stalker it’s LT, LA on the ground. Nasty kicks!!!

Turn 3 – We keep it 11-10. Ouch! They eject the Hatchetman. Their Cyclops moved one and it out of the woods. Our Awesome bases it. Our Enforcer to their Centurion’s rear, Vulcan and Vindicator to it’s flanks next. Their BM bases our Awesome. Their Urbie stands still sac play in front of their Cyclops to save it from Orion basing it. it does base it and our Cataphract and Zeus too. Our Stalker bases their Cyclops. I fire everything at it. Our TBolt destroys it’s RA, our Zeus it’s LA. Our Crusader hits its ammo in it’s CT, boom, dead mech! No falls, melee! Their BM hits a hip on our Awesome’s RL, ,no falls though. We kick it down. Ou Zeus destroys the LL of their Urbie and it falls. Also falling is their Centurion.

They have lost two assaults with AC20s and a Thunderbolt and we savaged their Hatchetman and Ubie. Do they keep throwing good mechs after bad or flee? They need one more round to turn it around I rule.

Turn 4 - We lose init 6-4. They turn the Urbie. Do I eject my savaged Awesome? Done no cheap kills. Orion next to their Warhammer and Cataphract. Ours bases theirs. Our MAD Bases their Merlin. Our T Bolt next to their Warhammer no kicks it’s my flank. Their Centurion rises and spins and doesn’t move. I base it with moving around them and then their BM rose and retreats. Focus on that Warhammer 6L if I can drop it and convince them to leave, that’d be great. Don’t need it as salvage, got two. Got 3 Cataphracts with better armor though. Our Cat hit a hip on their Warhammer. Our Stalker destroys it’s RL. It falls, and blacks out. Melee! Our Vindicator hit the Centurion’s LL, it’s destroyed and falls.

They eject from the legged stuff and flee. We try to catch them but they melt away into the jungle.

Got it and…it works, added the mech! Urbie LL? Got it, added! The Warhammer 6L? Nope! I spend 500k to fix it and then sell it for 10% less at 5,470,004. (War Chest - 16,985,831). Centurion? Nope, it weighs 50 tons. Got a Hunchy LL that works. Added!

Nov 25, 3028 – They retreat and we don’t hear from them for a few days. Rearming, repairing reloading or replanning how to handle us? I cannot say. While out on patrol they send out one unit to smash us for just one turn in a classic hit and run. They just want to paste us and move back into the Jungle. They are attacking our weakest company, Tres, I am not rolling like I did for Deux, but giving them the strongest option.

They added a bunch fire support units to try to finish us off.

We lose set up 10-9. Not great. I set up a BM Spear.

Turn 1 – We win 10-9…huh... their Longbow charges us. Do I base it with my BM? I could try to bring it down instead. It’s got 28 exterior armor in that leg and then 18 internal, rough to punch into. I base their Merlin instead. Their BM bases mine and their Banshee too. My Victor to their BM’s flank with his, no kicks. Our Griffin to it’s rear. Our QD bases their Trebuchet. Zeus too. Their Griffin bases my Zeus’s flank. Our Catapult bases it. Our Jenner to their TBT’s flank. Their BM is based by my BM, Longbow, Victor and Griffin, but that’s the flank. Can I take it out this round? I fire at it. I fire my V Victor first with the AC20 set on Rapid Fire mode to make more heat but fire two shells with a chance for both to hit. Our Hatchetman hits their BM’s H, dead mech, kill by it! We also destroy both arms. Dead mech! Remember this is their Battalion’s’ CO we just killed…melee! Can we leg that Trebuchet? Does our BM kick the Merlin trying for luck or their Banshee in case they stay? It’s not enough to go internal for their Merlin, so Banshee. Our Zeus legs their Trebuchet and destroyed its RL! We kick their Banshee to the ground.

Are they staying with the plan or getting upset with us and attacking for vengeance for taking out their CO? I give them one more round to clear their heads lacking ownership. They destroy my Catapult’s LA.

Turn 2 – We keep init 10-7 this time. They turn but don’t eject their Trebuchet. I eject our Catapult. Their Longbow stands still. Our Zeus bases their Cataphract. Our Pixie ot their Longbow’s rear. I base their Wasp with my Hatchetman. Their Banshee rises and runs and drops their back to me. I cannot get to it for melee shoot it with mechs or focus on the Longbow? My BM bases their Longbow our Victor it’s right flank, our QD it’s left flank. No kicks. Our Griffin it’s rear arc but not next to it. We focus all fire on that Longbow. Our Longbow destroys their’s LL, it falls our Striker it’s RA and RT. Our Centurion falls. Melee! Their Griffin kicks our Centurion in the chest and hits the engine twice. Our Hatchetman destroys their Wasp’s RL, legged!

They eject the three legged mechs and head out! We try to catch up to them, for an hour or so,, but they disappear in deeper Jungle.

Salvage:

BattleMaster 1G – missing H, RA, LA; current value – 7,801,243 - to fix 750k.
Trebuchet missing RL; current value is 3,893,500 - to fix 400k
Longbow 7Q – missing LL, RT and RA; current value is 6,408,325 -to fix is 1 mill.
Wasp 1L – missing RL; current value 1.40 mill, to fix 200k

Parts! Can I fix up that BM? I have an LA from a BM, but that’s it. I have a Stalker RA but no head. I spend that 750k to fix them up. Trebuchet RL? No parts from that model at all. Other 50 tonners? Nope. I spend that 400k to get it up and running. Longbow LL and RT and RA? No Longbow parts, but everything save RT from the Stalkers, they fit. I spend 1 mill to fix. Wasp? No parts I skip paying.

Escaping are their Banshee, Locust, Vindicator, Cataphract, Merlin, Griffin, Dervish and Quickdraw.

Us:


Catapult missing LA – Battle Loss – 600k. Fixed!
Centurion – 2 engine hits – battle loss – 500k

Do I have those Cat parts in my salvage? Yup. We cannot fix the Centurion, I tossed 3 3s and 2 twice. This cost 500K and then we’ll replace it with one from our garrison until fixed.

While waiting for tonight to run this let’s look at my ideal 3025 era company.

Smash company - I need two assaults to anchor this one of which has an AC20 heavy armored and then a heavily armored closing in ground pounder like Thunderbolt or Orion. Four the 4th mech I can go Hunchback, but I’d prefer another assault or heavy if needed like a Guillotine. For the Assaults ideally an Atlas and BattleMaster and then a Banshee 3S or Charger 1A5.

Long Range Company
- For our long range stuff I need another great Assault to lead the pack like an Awesome to open holes with it’s hole making PPCs and if not then a Longbow 7Q to be an amazing missile boat with a Warhammer 6D to make the PPC holes. Then the rest are well armored heavy missile boats ideally the Crusader D with 14 heat sinks to fire them and the SRM4 too and either the Catapult too although it’s for jumping or an Archer with LRm20 but cannot fire constantly I am fine with a Trebuchet in this role if needed although it’s got lighter armor.

Scout Company
- I love mostly jumping mech here with two lights - ideally a Javelin 10F and Spider or Wolfhound if not and Jenner 7F and then a medium with great armor like the Vulcan 5T and ideally led with a Grasshopper. It’s a little slow but very durable.

So that would be an Atlas, BattleMaster, Orion or Thunderbolt, Banshee 3S for smashing close ranger and then Awesome or Longbow, Crusader D, and then either an Acher or Catapult or Warhammer 6D for long range and then Grasshopper, Vulcan 5T, Javelin10F and then one more light jumper either Spider or Javelin 10F. Yay!!!

I win set up massively well 12-7. I set up our Atlas flank in the center. We are on a Jungle road map too. Their Banshee can be seen on the left side back rear. Their Zeus is behind woods.

Turn 1 - We lose init 11-10. I charge 5. Their Locust bases my Catapult, my Jenner bases it too. Their Spider bases my Longbow one level up - no kicks. Their Banshee didn’t move and is -1 to hit I focus on it long range at 10-12 hexes away. Short range at that ROUGH to hit 6 hexes in woods +5 to hit Quickdraw. Our Stalker hit their Banshee gyro and engine once each. Our Whitworth destroys it’s LA and this the hip on their RL blows off the other one on the ground. It falls and blacks out. No falls, kicks! Can we leg the Locust? We kick the Rl and destroy it falls our Jenner the other leg, legless. Their other Locust falls from a missed kick.

Do they fade or keep coming down an assault and light leg? They don’t want to leave their CO so they stay and see if they can help out.

Turn 2 – We win init 5-4. By one again. I charge 5. They eject the Locust. Their Grasshopper stays behind the trees. Our Guillotine and Grasshopper base their Catapult. Our Jenner to their Catapult’s rear and our FS to its flank. Their damaged missed kick Locust rises and I base its rear with my Locust 1E too. Their Spider flees sad. Their Cicada bases our Whitworth in jungle, I base it with our Hermes II. The Jungle in the back divides many. Our Longbow bases their Stinger. I cannot target their stuff with my Atlas et al. I target that Blackjack with long range in the corner and Shadow Hawk +2 with short range in. I also target their Locust with ours and Hermies II to their Cicada if they can see it I target that Grasshopper.

Our Locust rear armor theirs destroys it’s LA and then this the gyro twice, it falls and is out of commission!!!
Our Orion destroys their BJs RA.
Their Cataphract’s AC10 hits our Longbow in the head, but doesn’t hit a crit.
Our Warhammer hits a BJ engine once.
Their BJ needed a 9 to stand and is, their Hopper with 2 left external on their head armor blacked out, so that BJ is fine but we might get that Hopper…weird. Our Longbow fell no chance to kick and leg a Stinger.
Melee!!! Can I leg the unwounded Catapult?
Their Stinger kicked and destroyed our Longbow’s LA.
Our FS destroys their Catapult’s RL it falls, legged!
Our Hermes II kicks and destroys the RL of their Cicada it falls too! Legged!

With another pilot blacked out, but a total of 6 mechs legged or blacked out, but three of those are scouts Cicada and Locust are they going to push another turn without their CO? I toss a 7, okay higher than fight for another round or fewer than that flee. 6, they flee!

Salvage:


Banshee 3E – Missing LA, 1 engine, 1 gyro; hit hip. Pilot blacked out; current value - 8,730,852 - to fix 800k
Grasshopper – fine blacked out pilot
Catapult – missing RL; see below
Locust 1E – destroyed RL, LL; current value is 1,374,200 – to fix 200k

We fix up the engine, gyro and hip on their Banshee in 15 days total. Do we have an LA? Nope. I spend 800k to fix and then a mill to turn it to a 3S. Grasshopper is fine. Catapult RL? Got one ready to go! Added!!! Locust stuff? We fix the gyro of the one. I got an LA of a Locust, fixed, Legs? Got an RL, missing an LL one. I spend that 200k to get another one too. Cicada? Nope! I don’t spend it.

Us:

Longbow LA – battle loss? – to fix 600k

Do I have a spare? Nope, but I have an LA from a Stalker. It fits.

Battle Loss
– 600k but didn’t have to spend it.


Nov 29, 3028 - We chase them and then secure the area with Alpha Company the one not on guard here to chase them down. They flee to a river and then are looking to cross it, but the high water has washed out the bridge they were going to flee over, so they surrender rather than a glorious death with the loss of their BM CO and Longbow XO mechs and then the capture of this one. We turn them over to the FS to build up supplies and forces.

That ended faster than real life where their hit and run drained the unit here massively and then when they were captured at the river the unit sealed them in their mechs and pushed them into the river.

We win set up 10-3. I set up BM flank.

Turn 1 – We win init 8-7. I charge 5. Our BM bases a Behemoth. Our Goliath and Locust their Pike. Their Hetzer charges our home. Our Jav bases their Manticore. Our Vulcan bases their Partisan. Our TBolt too. Our Dervish to the rear of their Ontos and Catapult next to it. I split fire with that Ontos, LRM Carrier and Schrek and Von Luckner hope to kill them all. Our Demolisher destroys their LRM Carrier’s front dead tank! Our Vulcan destroys their Parisian’s left side dead tank!!! Our Devastator halves their Behemoth’s movement 2x. Our Rhino destroys their Shrek’s front, dead tank!!! That’s Barbara Zaimukhes’s 4th kill!!! Our other Rhino destroys their Von Luckner’s front. Dead tank!!! That’s the first kill from that Company!!! Our Maxim hits the fuel tank on their Pike, blows it up, no salvage. Their Hunter halves the movement on my Maxim. No falls. Kicks!!! Can I end that Ontos or immobilize the Behemoth? I cannot kick with my Dervish sad. Don’t know why. Our Catapult destroys the engine on their Ontos! Recoverable but we’ll need to replace it. Our BM connected nastily it’s still humming.

We have killed five tanks, three assaults (Ontos, Schrek, Partisan) and two heavies. They try to turn it around this turn and get ready to flee if not.

Turn 2 – We edge them again to keep init 10-9. They eject their Behemoth and Ontos. I eject our Maxim. I charge 5 where possible, but rare. Our BM on their Devastator. Our Charger and Crusader next to their Brutus. Our Banshee and Goliath base Hunters. Our TDR bases their Maxim. Our Catapult and Dervish next to their Hetzer. Our Vulcan by their Maxim too. Our Jav next to their Rhino. Locust next to our Hunter and Scorpion. I focus fire on their Devastator, Demolisher and Rhino if they can see it but it moved to the other side of the woods. Then that Hetzer, Maxim and Brutus for folks nearby.

Our Thunderbolt immobilizes their Maxim!
Our Vulcan destroys it’s front, double KO’d!
Our Saracen immobilizes their Condor!!!
Their Harasser destroys our Devastaro’s turret, dead tank, sad.
Our Demolisher destroys theirs front, dead tank!!!
Our Goliath destroys their Rhino’s turret dead tank!!!!
Their Goblin blows off our Dervish Ra on the ground
Our Hunter destroys the turret of their Devastator, dead tank
Their Devastator destroys our Javelin’s RT and LA.
Their Demolisher destroys our BM’s RL it falls.
Our Ontos destroys the front of their Brutus, dead tank!
Melee! Can we finish the Hetzer and take out a Hunter?
Our Charger immobilizes their Saracen!
Our TBolt halves the speed on their Vedette.

They flee and we chase them for an hour but they melt away into some caves.

We salvage a Schrek, Von Luckner, Behemoth which we fix, I spend 400k for that Ontos engine, Condor (Liao), Rhino, Devastator and Saracen! War Chest is 14,435,831.

Us:

Maxim – halved speed
Devastator – destroyed turret, we toss a 9 and can recover
Javelin missing RT and LA; battle loss – 650k
BM – missing RL; battle loss 600k

We fix the Maxim today, can we replace the Jav parts? Got them both from a Javelin! Yay! The BattleMaster RL? None of them but I do have a Stalker leg. It works.

1.25 mill for Javelin and BM parts but I didn’t have to spend it.

I start sending out patrols and scouts with 2 companies and 6 fighters one each of mechs and vees.

Nov 26, 3028 – We are scouting with Vee Company #7 and Deich Company, they see us coming and decide to sed out two mechs to stop us to overwhelm us, but this is a risk since they are committing two thirds of their stuff to us.

We are on a grassland map. We are on the center since they ambushed us and them north.

We win set up by one 8-7, close! I set up my heavy stuff north and lighter and LRM stuff south. They deploy heavy assets to north west and lighter stuff east.

Turn 1 – We stay at 8, but they drop to 4, and we win init. I charge 5 where possible. Our Atlas bases their Javelin and Trebuchet. Our Thunderbolt bases their Rifleman. My Spider bases their Stinger. Wolfhound too! Our BM bases their QD. Our Wolverine to their Cicada rear. Our Stalker bases their Wasp. Their Spider bases my Condor and Saracen. Their Goliath bases my BM’s flank. Our Hoppper bases their QD too. Our Catapult to their Vulcan’s rear. I want to fire at their Awesome if I can see it but it’s behind some woods. And then rear attacks for their Cicada in the south. And the rest at that Victor. Most fire at it. Our Pegasus hit a hip and lower leg In their Cicada. Our Vulcan destroys its RA and the LA by our Maxim. Our Devastator AC20 in their Awesome in their head, dead mech and CO and pilot. We also destroy it’s LT and RA. Their Cicada falls , kicks time!!! Our Atlas misses their Jav on a 5 to leg it. Our Stalker kicks and destroys their Wasp RL, and our Striker it’s RT. Our Wolverine hit a gyro and engine on their Cicada. Our Spider destroys their Stinger’s RL, it’s legged. None of ours fall but their QD and Rifleman do as well as legged mechs.

We destroyed their CO and legged two mechs and savaged a fourth and badly wounded their Victor. They need to turn this around fast.

Turn 2 – We keep init 8-6, huh. They eject that savaged Cicada. I charge them where possible. Their Stinger rises. They eject the Wasp since it’s missing it’s weapons. I charge their Orion at the top of the trees so only those can see it I base it with our Banshee. Our Hopper and T Bolt base it too. Our Wolverine bases their Urban’s rear arc. Their QD roses and ran behind a Tbolt our BM bases their TBolt. Our Wolfhound behind their other Wasp. Our Spider to the flank of their Urbie. They retreat their Jav. Their Rifleman tried to stand and failed. I have next to it our Atlas and Stalker to try and take it down with kicks. I fire at their Orion on the top and Victor on the south. Our Devastator this the ammo in their Orion, it blows up, dead mech! Their Jav halves our Rhino’s speed. Our Brutus hits the ammo in their Victor and it blows up, dead mech!!!! Our Condor destroys their Urban’s CT. Dead mech! Our BM destroys their Quickdraw’s damaged RL it’s legged and falls. No other falls. Melee! Our Atlas kicks their Rifleman on their wounded LL and it breaks.


They have lost two Assaults, their CO died, they lost a heavy and two were legged as well as three scouts legged or savaged and their UrbanMech dead. And all they’ve done to us is half the speed of a Rhino but not hurt the armor. They flee.

We chase them for an hour while a company comes out to grab our stuff, and they disappear with us tracking them into a box canyon.

We are on the 1st Desert map again.

We win set up strongly – 10-5. I set up our Atlas flank at top. Their Goliath in the middle and then everything else top of center.

Turn 1 – We win a low scoring init barely 6-5 they still toss a 5. I’ll take it! I move 5 where possible. Our Atlas bases their Catapult, their Cataphract it’s flank. Our TBolt bases it too. Our Guillotine base their Cataphract. I can have my Awesome base it but it’s 4 away not 5. Done. It’s strongly armored. Our BM bases their TBolt. Our Crusader has to base their Zeus to move 5, they based it nicely. Our Spider bases their Goliath’s flank. I focus on their TBolt. Our Awesome destroys it’s LA and it’s LT by our Trebuchet. It falls and blacks out. It’s taken 3 hits. We also hit it’s engine once. Melee! Can we drop their Catapult too? Good news and bad news. Our TBolt destroy their Catapult’s Rl! We double kick their Cataphract in the same spot and it’s got 6 left internal. But they kicked out BM to the ground, bad news. They punch our TBolt’s and destroys it RA.

Are they going to keep on coming? One more turn to save their TBolt pilot to see if he wakens.

Turn 2 – We keep init 7-6 by one again. They don’t eject the Catapult. Our BM rises and backs up two. Our Atlas bases their Vindicator. And Awesome too. Their Cataphract tries to rise, falls and then blacks out!!! Their Zeus bases our BM’s flank. Our Crusader bases it again. Their Hunch bases me and I can base it with our armless TDR. Or I can eject. I base it’s rear so it cannot fire at me. Their Goliath bases my BM flank too. Our Vulcan leaps to their Hunch’s flank. I cannot get there with the Guillotine, Archer or Griffin. I could jump i Javelin but that’s bad I do so. Our Grifffin next to their Wasp. Alright do I fire at their Hunch and finish off with kicks or their Zeus and try to leg the Hunchback. It’s got 32 total armor in and outside of each leg internal and external. I fire at the Hunchback. Our Awesome hit’s the engine on it once. Our Trebuchet destroys it’s RA and hit the gyro once. It falls, blacks out with a few engine hits and took 2 hits. Melee!!! We kick the Vindicator twice but hit each leg. It survives on the ground. Our Wolverine kicks and legs the RL of their Wasp 1L. Legged!

They think about extending it for the Tbolt, Cat and Hunch pilots, but they don’t have any major rally points, so they flee. We chase them to the place they were heading and then we see it s base and raid and destroy it.

December 01, 3028 – We spy another of their Mech companies fleeing the scene and heading to the Blue Dragon Mountains Pass. Maybe they are fleeing from us.

Up on standby is Nove Company. They head out and chase the company, and I am sending some extra stuff in case it’s a trap to surround them.

We lose set up 9-4. I set up Atlas Spear. They set up their Awesome and Charger to the left woos and then a few behind them we cannot see. Remember an at 8T Awesome is the one with LL and LRMs

Turn 1 – We win init 11-7. I charge 5. They don’t move the Charger and Awesome, no charging me. Their Chameleon flanks me. I cannot see them all in the woods, so I fire at the Charger with what I can and then short range fire to their Chameleon behind woods. Their Charger falls.

Turn 2 – We keep init 11-7 again. I charge 5. Their Charger rises and charges out of the woods. Our Jav and Jenner base their Raven. Our Warhammer bases their Crusader and Marauder in woods. I fire at their Charger again. Our Warhammer cracks a gyro on their Charger. Our Archer destroys its RA. The LA destroyed by our Trebuchet. We savage their Warhammer with the close range and it falls. Our Hopper hits the Charger’s engine once. Our Jenner two more gyro hits, mech down! Hand to hand!!! We kick their Raven to the ground.

Turn 3 – We win init 11-6 , huh… I move where possible. They eject their Charger. Their Warhammer didn’t rise. Our Atlas bases it on the ground. Our Hunchback bases their Centurion. Their Awesome stays still in the north. Our Hopper bases it’s front. Their Raven rose and I base it with my Jav and Jenner. Our Awesome bases their Warhammer on the ground. Our PXH bases their Raven. Our Hammer bases their Awesome. Our Archer bases their Crusader. I fire everything at that Awesome. Our Awesome destroys theirs LT, LA on the ground. Our Warhammer PPC hit the Awesome’s head, dead mech and MW. Kill!!! Melee! Can we leg the Raven and destroy their Warhammer on the ground? Our Phoenix Hawk destroys their Raven’s Rl! Our Atlas hits and destroys the CT of their Warhammer, dead mech!!! We also destroy it’s LA.

We killed their Warhammer, Charger, Awesome and legged a Raven. They flee. We follow them. See below for what happens.

1 Dec, 3028 – We chase them and our friends we summoned fearing a trap arrive to secure the mechs and bring them back. They flee into the pass over the Blue Dragon Mountains, and all of the other mechs surviving join these 8, and they are clearly trying to change the location and tempo of battle. We summon reinforcements and chase them with the patrolling two companies, one mech and one vee. We run into a defensive cordon of a battalion of tanks here letting the mechs.

Lefts for their unit is: 1
Zeus, Goliath, Crusader, Trebuchet,3 Vindicators, Marauder 3L, Centurion,
Chameleon, Spider , 2 Wasp1L, Stinger 3G, Blackjack, Vulcan, Javelin, Locust, Wolverine.

Our Fed Suns Commander suggests air dropping the 5 regiments we came with garrison force, but we have a better idea to actually shut to them down on the other side of the pass. We bring in all five companies from the Northern Continent flank to smash them good and hard. We’ll catch them in a pincer good and strong.

For set up – we win 7-4. Welcome to set up and I set up my Atlas flank.

Turn 1 – We lose init 11-8. I charge 5. Our Grasshopper to the rear of their Vedette, Pixies to each flank. Wolfhound next to it’s front. Their Devastator on our side near us waited until we had two left and came inside our flank inside of the buildings not that many lines of sight, I base its rear with a Banshee and Catapult. Their J Edgar bases my Trebuchet. I fire at that Devastator for those who can see it and then their LRM Carrier, Behemoth and then their far away Ontos on the far side, ideally can out all four. Remember that this map has a four hex middle from one side to the other loaded with the Fort on the sides, so we are in the tunnel now and cannot see deeply or back.

Our Atlas destroys their Ontos’s front side. Dead tank!
Our Banshee destroys their Devastator’s turret, dead tank! That’s Sieben Company Banshee Michele Ho’s 4th kill.

Our PXH next to their Manticore. The other next to their Hunter. Wolfhound and Jenner remain next to their Vedette. Our Atlas bases their Demolisher. Our Jenner next to their Puma. Our other Banshee next to their Brutus. Our Orion next to their Brutus too. I fire at their Rhino, Brutus lightly, Demolisher too.

I lose set up 4-12…ouch. I set up an Atlas flank not a spear. Looks like we are in the middle, not the south where they are.

Turn 1 – I thump them in inti though 11-5. An Awesome bases their 2 Vindicators. Our Cataphract one. Their MAD didn’t move. Our Vulcan next to theirs and above one to try for a head punt. Our Jav next to their Wasp. Our Hopper near their Javelin. Jenner too. Our Banshee near a Spider! I fire at their Goliath. Hopefully we can take out this turn. Our Stalker hit the MG ammo on their Goliath, boom, dead mech! Our JagerMech hit the AC ammo on their BJ, boom, dead mech!!! It’s engine blew up, our BM and MAD fell. Melee!!! They kick over an Awesome. Our Banshee destroys their Spider’s LL. Yay! We don’t leg their double based Vindicator each leg was hit once, ditto their Wasp. Their Jav has one point left internal.

They need to change this around fast.

Turn 2 - We keep init 11-5 – wow. They don’t eject the Spider, since they can retreat their Zeus to it with just one adjacent space. Their Zeus was savaged in the engine explosion next hex over. Our MAD rises and runs. Our BM rises and bases their TBT and Wolverine. Our Atlas bases a Chameleon. Our Stalker bases their Zeus. Our TBolt next to their Vindicator’s torso to punt the head off and our Orion too. Their MArader didn’t move again, but no spaces on the map on it’s level to leg it. Our Cat next to their Chamaeleon, Our Hunchback next to but above their MAD. Crusader too. Our Zeus next to their unwounded Wasp. Our Awesome stands and faces their Vulcan. Our other Crusader next to their Stinger. Our Jav chases their wounded Wasp and bases it. Our Vindicator next to their Stinger. Our Jenner next to their Javelin. Our Enforcer next to their Vulcan. Our Vulcan and Grasshopper by their Crusader. Do I destroy that damaged Zeus or split attack with it and the Crusader and try to finish it off with kicks? I split attacks.

Our Atlas destroys their Zeus’s cockpit, dead MW and mech and pilot. We also destroy it’s CT, RT, and RA in an ammo explosion, but the H survived.
Our TBolt hits ammo on the Crusader, boom, dead mech! That’s Wesley Weston;s 4th kill
Our Atlas falls, no kicks on the Chameleon, their TNBT pilot blacked out after damage and fell

They eject and try to flee, but we were the route of fleeing, and we have one company of mechs from the northern flank on every side. They surrender.

Set up – We lose 6-7. I set up on the north part of our flank.

Turn 1 – We do win init 10-7. I charge 5. I need to take out that Laser Carrier, Schrek and Ontos. I do split fire with them all. Our Maxim destroys the left side of their Laser Carrier. Our Devastator the Schrek’s front side, dead tank!! Our Schrek destroys their Ontos’s front side too! Dead tank!!! They savaged our Demolisher.

Turn 2 – We keep init 9-7! I move around and eject my Demolisher. I target their Brutus and Hunter. Our Devastator destroys their Hunter’s front! That’s Cheung Shiu’s 4th kill, she’s elite. Their Goblin halves our Devastator’s speed. Our Condor destroys their Brutus’s rear.

They flee and we ignore them and keep on coming.

Salvage:


Laser Carrier – we toss a 7 and cannot salvage
Ontos – We toss a 12! Salvaged!!!!
Schrek PPC Carrier – We toss an 11 and recover it!

Dec 2, 3028 – The Southern Flank has fallen, and we captured New Canton!!!!

We capture their Overlord, meet our:

Overlord – military transport for a mech battalion and 6 fighters called the “Majoris Extremis” captured from the CC New Canton from the 3rd Wave of the Succession War Operation Rat.

EVENT – 3 Dec, 3028 –
The Duchy of Andurien in the FWL has declared war on the next door Caps. Since they are allied they don’t like that the FWL hasn’t attacked them and are taking advantage of that. They are allied with the Magistracy of Canopus a Periphery power seeking to expand to real worlds status. They have gone independent.

Jan, 02, 3029 – The Third Wave of Operation Rat has ended in the 4th Secession War.

They captured 11 planets.

The Fourth Wave of Operation Rat has Begun:

Jan 02, 3029 - Our next planet target is Menkalinan where we stuck before on the border with FWL and owned by both with minor stuff here. Here are the Menkalinan Militia on the CC side and then they’ve got a battered lance of Mechs, and then some tanks are here as well as the FWL side.

We raided this for ComStar but they were fed intel by the Suns so we’ve been here before,

We don’t know this, but secretly here are a battalion of strong Marik Mechs from the First Guards. They landed in November and are here to take the planet from the CC permanently for the FWL.. They will ally against us after we smash hammer the CC. They are a heavy unit.

We arrive at their Zenith JumpPoint with our flotilla, they have here JumpShips from the CC side with their logos and such and Marik D in on the Nadir JumpPoint. It’s a minor defense for a minor world, we find here 2 Avengers, 2 Leopard CVs and that’s 12 fighters and 4 Aquarii

We defeat them all, fleeing are a Leopard CV with 6 fighters, we destroyed the rest. Can we salvage the other three? I toss an 8 and 5 for the Avengers nope. Leopard CV? I toss another 8, nope.

They flee from here to prevent being captured.

Battle Loss at JumpPoint:
We lose an Aquarius (14,221,500 ) and two fighters for a cost of 6,134,253. We can salvage 2 more for 1.2 mill. We took 5 mill in damage, and can salvage 3 of theirs for 1.45 mill

We salvaged at the JumpPoint 12 mil in those three Drops.

Jan 08, 3029 – We arrive at the planet’s atmosphere. They have here the Marik JumpPoint protection and from the planet too.

They have here:

1 Avenger
1 Overlord
1 Leopard
3 Gazelle
3 Leopard CV

36 fighters
6 Aquarius

We defeat them all, their Leopard and Overlord fled, two Gazelles, too and a Leopard CV fled too. Defeated are 2 Achilles, Avenger, 2 CV and a Gazelle. We toss a 3, 5 and 8 for the military Drops. A 7 and 3 for the CV, but a 10 for the Gazelle, captured!!! It costs 5.5mill to fix up, spent now, War Chest is now 7,285,831.

Battle Loss at the Planet: We took 11 mill in damage. We lost 10 fighters and can salvage 5 for 1.95 mill. The other 5 cost 23,317,431. We can salvage 8 of theirs for 4.5 mill.

We salvage from this battle 18 mill.

We arrive and land on Menkalinan!

Jan 8, 3028 – We land in Menkalinan with no garrison troops, just us. We have total air control. We unload and move to attack the local CC troops first. We head to where they are stationed on the River Rika and it’s valley. On our way we come across units that are not supposed to be here that our FS contact identifies as the 1st Free Worlds Guards, a battalion of heavy and I cannot if they are veteran, regular or elite so I am ruling they are veteran on the way in the same direction. Neither us nor the CC seems to have known they are here either.

We stare at each other for an hour, they do not stop us from moving in to hit the CC. We move to hit them, but I keep back everything, since they are very nasty good, we only us the worse forces I can against the CC and then keep everything else against and ready for the 1st Free Worlds Guards.

We send in only Deux and Tres company against the defenders,

They have one lance of mech, 2 companies of vees and a battalion of infantry (9 units).

We lose set up 11-4. Not even close!!! I set up an Assault and smash vee flank, not our normal spear.

Turn 1 – We win init close 8-7. I charge 5 where possible. Our TBolt on their Partisan. Their Demolisher bases it. Our Zeus bases their Von Luckner. Our other Zeus and Vulcan their Scorpion. Our Longbow and Griffin next to their Hetzer. I try to take out their Devastator, SRM Carrier, and Schrek and then hopefully some extra fire at the VL. Our Awesome destroys their SRM Carrier’s front, dead tank! Our Catapult destroys their Shrek’s left side, dead tank!! Our Stalker destroys their Demolisher’s Left side. No falls, melee!!! Our Zeus 6T destroys a Scorpion’s right side, dead tank walking! Our Griffin halves the movement of their Hetzer.

Turn 2 – We keep init 10-9. Another close win. Our Stalker is internal in it’s LA. I eject it since that’s where ammo is kept. Our Crusader bases their Brutus. Our Vindicator near their Hetzer. Our Griffin by their Partisan’s rear, our Zeus on it. Our Victor by their Pegasus. Our Awesome bases their Stalker. Our Orion their Marauder. Our Enforcer on their Striker to their Vindicator’s rear. Our QD by them and Griffin too. Our Vulcan by their Striker too. They held their VL until last, and then I move my Zeus next to it again. I fire on their Devastator past the trees and VL. Our Cataphract destroys the Devastator’s front side, dead vee! That’s Palmiro Umbari’s 4th kill. Their Pegasus gets a TAC On my Victor’ head and hit sensors and life support. Our Catapult destroys their Vl’s rear. Dead tank!!! No falls, melee time!!! Our Vindicator destroyed the damaged left side on their Hetzere dead tank! Our Zeus 6T destroys their Partisan’s rear dead veex2!!!

With 8 vees destroyed and none of ours destroyed, close, or on the ground, they flee. We took out all 7 AC20s, and all of their Assaults too.

Salvage:

SRM Carrier – front destroyed, I toss an 8 and we get it!
Schrek – missing left side, we toss a 6 and cannot keep
Demolisher- missing left side too, we toss an 8 again and can keep
Scorpion – right destroyed, we toss a 4 and cannot keep

Jan 08, 3058 – As they run into our Aerospace fighters and surrender the 1st Free Worlds Guards move towards us. They must have gotten word to help out when sent here to take the world for the FWL. Seeing us move out to them, the CC returns galvanized and begins to fight the same companies as before.

I have scouted the area with our fighters and they have told me of their supply depot I can hit and then a road to get us to rear attack them to get to them to take them out.

So, I grabbed my three best companies to hit the 1st Free Worlds Guards. Since they are mostly heavy, and veteran, I need heavier and elite to pull their attention. Ideally, I want to beat them honestly with the rear attack and supplies to hit them and shock them if they lose to us. I am sending in a mech battalion to flank them and then the rest to destroy their supplies.

Here’s my ideal anti-1st Free Worlds Guards company:

Smash Mouth
– Three assaults and a TDR or Orion or Guillotine

Fire Support – strongly armed Assault and three heavies with great armor like Awesome or Longbow and Warhammer 6D, Catapult, Archre and Crusader.

Scout – Grasshopper leading it, and then a medium and two lights heavily armored like Javelin 10F.

That’s my ideal, 4 Assaults well armored, and then 5 heavies. I may have to compromise – but that’s my ideal.

Nove and Oitavo have 3 Assaults and 4 heavies with them. Khamésh Company is four assaults and just 3 heavies with Whitworth and Trebuchet. Those three!!! They will, ideally, defeat the foes! Or distract them with their quality and ability.

We lose set up 6-12. Ouch. I set up our giant assault smash mech flank with one on each space moving forward and then the others behind them. They deploy their stuff to the farthest range from me in a giant circle. I want to take out one heavy mech per turn with one company of fire. At the end of turn 5 I need to survive and remain since that’s when we’ve surrounded them

Turn 1 – We lose init 7-6. 6 twice by us! We charge 5. They flank their Assassin and Chameleon to our right. We focus long range fire on their Banshee +2 11-12 hexes away and close range on that Dervish at 6-7 and +3. Our Awesome from Seiben Company hits their Banshee’s H and destroyed it. Dead mech! We also destroyed it’s RL so it was legged too. Our Crusader from ‘Eono hit the SRM ammo on their Dervish, boom, dead mech!!! They savaged our Atlas, Charger 1a5 in Sieben but aren’t internal anywhere. With their CO dead, that’s great for us.

Turn 2 – We grab init also 7-6, but us with 7 this time. We charge 5. Their Assassin is based by our Phoenix Hawk and Vulcan. Their Cyke and Goliath emerge from behind woods. Their Hermes II bases our Atlas’s flank, no kicks, our Striker bases it, but had to move just 4, and that’ll open it up. Our BM bases their Trebuchet. Their Victor leaps to our BM’s flank last. We split fire with their TDR – 3-5 away, +2 to hit, Merlin 4-6 away, +2 to hit and +2 shortest range Victor in company order. Deich’s Archer destroy their TDR’s LT and opens up the CT and then hits the gyro once. Our Wolverine’s SRM hits the gyro one more and the engine twice too, down mech! Seiben’s Trebuchet hits the ammo on their Merlin, dead mech! We savage their Victor but it doesn’t even fall, good to be elite! Our Atlas falls and then they destroy our LA in our Charger. They savage our Striker and keep up on other stuff. Melee! Our Striker hit and savaged their Hermes II LL. We kick it and their Assassin down. They savage our BM leg, none of ours fall, we smashed their Trebuchet too.

Turn 3 – They grab init back 9-5. I eject our Charger. They eject their TBolt. Our Atlas rises and walks back. We base their Cyclops with our TDR, and both Banshees. Their Hermes II and Assassin rise and run away. Our PXH bases their Hermes II and both Wolfhounds too. Three lights that jump base their Assassin - Javelin, Jenner and Spider. Their Trebuchet rose and our Warhammer 6R bases it. We also base their Orion with two Grasshoppers on it’s flanks no kicks and then our Awesome, Stalker and Goliath. Can I just kick it without attacking it? It’s got a lot of armor there 48 in each leg, and then then an 80 assault hits for 16 each and then the Hoppers 14 each kick and then the Stalker is 85 so that’s17 damage. We attack their Victor, +2, Crusader +2, and Warhammer 6l in company order. Our Deich Stalker hit the ammo, boom, dead Victor!!! Before he died he hit the ammo on our TBT, dead mech, boom!!! We leg their Crusader with our Grasshopper and destroy it’s RA with our Awesome. We hit the ammo on their Warhammer with our Catapult, dead mech!!! That’s ‘Eono’s Lyubov Amiranashvili’s fourth kill!!! Melee! We kick their Cyclops to the ground, our PXH legs their Hermes II LL. We kick their Assassin but it stands. Our Warhammer hit the Trebuchet’s leg, but the other leg, savaged though, we kick their Orion, we went internal twice, once hit a hip, the 2nd time got a limb blown off, on the ground!!! Their Hopper hit our savaged BM LL in a kick and it’s destroyed and our mech is on the ground.

Turn 4 – We steal init 4-3. I’ll take it. I eject our BM. They don’t eject anything. Their Cycke rises, we follow it with our Banshees and TDR. Their Assassin jumps away. Our Spider bases it and a Locust too. Our Hunchback bases their WW and TBT. Our Hopper the TBT flank. Their Goliath bases our savaged Atlas flank and QD the other flank. We base their Archer with everything that moved up all of my Orion stuff bases it save a Hopper and add a Crusader. Their Hatchetman to the rear of my Atlas too. I base it with our Catapult and Archer 2S. Combat! I attack their QBD based to my Atlas, the TBolt and Grasshopper too. My Atlas hits the QD on the first salvo, AC20, ammo boom dead mech!!! She just one hit killed a heavy mech and not a head shot! Good job Salimah Shivji! Sieben’s Warhammer 6D cracked into their TBolt’s head with a PPC went internal twice and hit the sensors twice. That blinds the mech so they cannot see or target. We also destroy it’s LA. Then ‘Eono’s Goliath hits their Hopper;s RA and tosses a 12 on the ground. We also destroy it’s RL and RT too. It falls. They destroy my Atlas’s RT, RA on the ground. Melee!!! We leg their Trebuchet’s RL. Our Spider drops their Assassin to the ground but no legs off yet. Our Catapult and Archer drop their Hatchetman to the ground, but each hit different legs. Their Golath destroys the RL of our Atlas. It falls. We kick their Archer to the ground it’s internal in both legs. and Cyke too.

Turn 5 -The final round arrives! We win init 8-5. I surround their Archer after it rises. I eject my Atlas and internal in four places TDR and a leg with 2 left internal next to their Cyclops. It rises and we keep based it with our Banshees. We also chase their downed and cannot jump away Assassin after it rises and that Hatchetman too. We base their other Orion to finish it off with everything else this turn. We fire at their Orion, other Grasshopper and other Archer not based to us to bring them into the fold! Dieich’s Wolfhound destroys the Orion’s CT, dead mech! Our Charger left opens up their other Grasshopper’s RL, and then it’s destroyed by the Awesome. Our Grasshopper hit the gyro and engine once each, It fell on the CT and hit the gyro again, and engine too dead mech!! Our Catapult destroys their Archers LA and RA and it falls. They destroy the RL of my Crusader. Melle!!! We leg BOTH of their 1st Archer’s legs, and then our double Banshees leg their Cyclops’s RL. Our Spider legs their Assassin and that’s it.

With them getting rear attacked, us capturing their supplies and we took out or legged HALF of their units and killed their CO they flee and eject from legged stuff!

Got them both in CRD form! Added. I send 750k to make it a CRD3D. Hermes LL? Got none, how about other 40 tonners like Whitworth or Cicada? None! Fixed the Orion, added. Grasshopper missing RL RT and RL too? We fixed the gyro and engine. Got an RT, but no legs from it. Other 70 tonners? Warhammer, Archer and Cataphract are there. Got a Warhammer 6L, that works, fixed! Got just one of each Archer leg I use it for it, and pay the 500k to fix. I use the salvaged leg for our captured one. It’s ready to go. Cyclops RL? No parts. Ditto Assassin, don’t spend!

Jan 08, 3058 – We have defeated the CC Battalion and then the 1st Free Worlds Guards Battalion too.

We grabbed from the raids on the 1st Free Worlds Guards Battalion 6 mill, a better amount since it was for a battalion and then mechs and then supplies for a campaign and then higher quality stuff. Then captured from the dissembled CC tanks 1.25 mill too, so 7.25 mill total.

We need to attack the FWL side of their defenses, which was equal to the CC one prior to the secret arrival of their 1st Free Worlds Guards Battalion.

Jan, 09 – 3058 - We arrive and him them!!!

In set up I toss a 10-8 win of it. We set up our Atlas and over heavier Assault stuff in the middle. They set up in outskirts.

Turn 1 – We win init 10-5. Still 10!!! I charge 5. They back up their BM. Our Guillotine on top of their Scorpion. Jav, Locust and FS next to it too. Our Spider to their Striker’s rear. I fire at their BM if they can see it behind those woods, otherwise at their Ontos and LRM Carrier. Their Warrior got a through armor crit on our Atlas’s SRM6. Our BM destroyed the Ontos’s turret. Our Spider halves and -1s the speed of their Striker. Our Warhammer destroys their Schrek’s front! Dead tank!!! Their LRM Carrier barely survives 1 internal left front. Their BM and our Wolverine fell. Melee! Our Spider halves their Striker’s movement again. Our Jav destroys their Scorpion’s right side, dead tank!!!

Turn 2 – We keep init 11-9. Their BM rises. I charge 5. Our Archer, Banshee and BM base their Hetzer. Our GLT and Striker base their Vindicator. Longbow on their Goblin. Awesome next to their Maxim. Our Wolfhound next to their LRM Carrier. Our Wolverine rises and backs up. CRD next to their Goblin. Grasshopper too. Their Wasp bases my GLT. Hermes II by their LRM Carrier. Jenner to their Vindicator’s rear and our Javelin to it’s flank too. Hunchback to it’s front. I have five Mechs based to it. Our Locust to their Striker’s rear. Our Spider next to their LRM Carrier. Our FS next to their Vindicator in heavy woods! It’s surrounded! Their BM has left 23 external CT one leg was damage and has 17 HP left external. I fire at it with many of my mechs that see it, but some try to finish off that LRM Carrier and hurt their Demolisher. Our Hermes II destroyed their LRM Carrier’s side. Kill!!! That’s Roy Hernández’s 4th kill!!! Our Firestarter hit the SRM Ammo on their BM boom, dead mech, insert sad face here. Our Awesome PPC destroys their Demolisher – dead mech!!! Our Wolverine falls, melee! Our Banshee immobilizes their Hetzer. Our Striker destroys their Vindicator’s RL, legged!!! Our Jenner falls with it after missing a kick.

Do they keep coming with us taking out three assault vees and their CO mech the BM? They flee. Sad because I’d love that Rhino. They eject from the Hetzer and Vindicator we capture them both.

Salvage:


Schrek PPC Carrier – destroyed front , we toss a 9 and it’s ours.
Ontos – Destroyed turret – we toss a 9 and salvage it!
Scorpion – destroyed side, we toss an 8 and can take it!!
LRM Carrier – destroyed side we toss an 8 again and salvage it,
Demolisher – We toss a 10 and keep it, weird.
Hetzer - immobile

Insert sad face with taking out the BM with an ammo explosion and no shot for that Rhino. Can I fix up that Vindicator’s RL? No legs from that chassis, other 45 tonners? That’s BJs and PXHs. Got a BJ one that works, added. We captured 6 vees!!!

The 5th Wave of the Operation Rat against the CC in the 4th Seccussion War Begins

BEGINNING OF THE MENKIB CAMPAIGN!!!


April 28, 3029 – We hit Menkib. We arrive at their Zenith JumpPoint. They have here just one Invader with a Achilles, Leopard CV since most were stripped for the Sarna attacks and maneuvers. They have just 8 fighters and 2 Aquarius here just to keep it relevant.

We blow through their fighters, they flee to head else here we didn’t kill any

Battle Loss at the JumpPoint - We only took 1.6 mill damage and then lost one fighter we can repair for 450k. We can recover 1 of theirs for 560k,

They jump out, and then a group of DropShips launch from the planet to head to the Nadir one it looks like they are leaving this to us.

May 4, 3029 – We arrive at Menkib for their denuded planet. Here left after the DropShips left with are voluntarists, poorly trained reservists and then everything else is left.

All they have left are some vees and infantry.

We land all of our forces safely. We attack their HQ which has 2 companies of Vees and a battalion of 9 infantry and 2 random VTOLS. They are all green unless otherwise stated.

I blow them out 12-6 in set up first. I set up our BMs and heavy stuff up front.

Turn 1 – We lose init close 7-6. I charge 5. Our Catapult and Hopper next to their Brutus. Our Vulcan on their Manticore next to their Brutus too. Our Spider to their Brutus’s rear our Jav on it. Our Wolverine and other Vulcan next to their Goblin. Our other Spider on it. I fire at their Rhino and Demolisher. Ju ni’s TDR destroys their Rhino’s front, dead tank!!!! Our TBT destroys their Demolisher! Dead tankx2!!! Ju ni’s Spider destroys their Hetzer! Melee!!! Their Brutus survives but our Wolverine destroys their Goblin’s rear dead tank.

Turn 2 – We wrest init away 8-7. I charge where I can. Our Archer Catapult and Hopper near their Brutus still. Our Wolverine, Vulcan and Banshee by their Saladin. Our Jav, other Vulcan and Spider by their Schrek. Our Spider by their VL. I fire at their VL, Partisan and Shreck. I want to take them all out. Ideally I can physical take out the Saladin and Brutus too. Our Charger from Unsprezece destroys their VL;s front! Dead tank!!! Our other Charger destroys their Partisan’s side. Our TBT destroys their Schrek’s right side. Our other Vulcan destroys their rear on the Hunter!!! Four tanks killed! Melee!!!! Our Grasshopper from Unsprezece destroys their right side on their Brutus! Our Wolverine destroys their Saladin’s right side too.

Obviously they flee with us taking out 10 vees and all of their assaults. We chase them down and they surrender to FS. They don’t have any DropShips to grab from the surrender they were all evacuated.

Salvage:

Rhino – missing front we can salvage it, tossed an 11.
Demolisher – missing front, we toss a 3 and cannot salvage, sad.
Hetzer – destroyed left. We toss a 5 and cannot salvage
Goblin - destroyed rear, we toss a 4 and can’t salvage
Von Luckner K100 – we destroy it’s front and toss a 9 and can salvage
Partisan LRM – we destroys it’s side and toss an 8 for salvaged yay!
Schrek PPC Carrier – we destroy it’s side and toss a 6 and cannot salvage
Hunter – We destroy its rear and toss a 8 and can salvage
Brutus – We destroys it’s right side and toss a 12! We keep it
Saladin - destroyed it’s right we toss a 7

We can grab that Rhino, VL, Partisan variant, Brutus, Hunter so 5 outta 10 destroyed!!!

We unpack the vees and scour the battlefield and find here 1.85 mil in cash.

We have captured Menkib for the FS!!!

EVENT – June 1, 3029 – ComStar begins a communication interdiction against the FS for their atrocities on Sarna.

Our contract ends next months on the 1st but we are needed for Wave Five to start early August. Things are wrapping up though. We finish our deal and then agree to a 6 new one for the same terms.
