Werewolf XXII - Way of the Colt - Game over, congrats samurai!
OK, time for yet another friendly game of werewolf. Extended rules to follow next week. Here is the short version for purposes of tweaking interest ...
1.) Looking for 20 players for this game. 2.) It will be a hidden roles game - no roles are published initially and there will be incomplete information about roles upon death. 3.) Looking to begin the game on Monday, January 30th. 4.) I'll planning to adopt a 24/12 day/night cycle but I'm willing to alter this to meet the requests of the players. 5.) The game isn't werewolves versus villagers per se, but more of a kung fu movie brought to our message board. I'm going to hold two slots open to allow people who I know have limited board availability during the day the opportunity to get in the game. But the other 18 are first-come, first-served. All I ask it that if you sign up that you do so with the idea that you will be available for 5-7 days to participate in the thread. 1. Lathum 2. TazFTW 3. Coder 4. Kwhit 5. Eaglesfan27 6. RPI-Fan 7. My availability is EXTREMELY limited, so I don't think I'll be able to play. You did say you were saving two spots for people with limited access. Let me know what you have in mind.

Cronin, I was basically holding the spots for a day to offer up to two people who I worried would not be available to grab the first 20 spots because of the times they are active on the board (night hours).
If you have the availability to play on the week of 1/30 - 2/3 (and longer, provided the game is extended into the following week) then please sign up. But if you aren't going to be able to play during that time then hopefully you enjoy reading along and can jump in again in a future game. |

I think I'll have to pass. Most days I'll only have a few minutes on the board. My time management skills are not strong, so I have to discipline myself! I hope it goes well! |

I haven't done one of these in a long time so, I'll give it a whirl...
I probably won't be too active in the next 24 hours.. I'm fighting a cold so hopefully this doesn't rev up too much quickly.

I would love to play with Don the Baptist as the GM, but unfortunately I will start an inspection next week that runs through the middle of February so my availability during the day will be very limited. Good luck guys!

You may have to wait to see if there is spot for you. Hoops said he was holding 2 spots for people that may not be on today. And the other 18 are already filling up. If you don't get in this game, have no fear, I'm sure you'll enjoy AE's game and my game to follow(And if you don't get into AE's game either I'll hold a spot for you in my game.)

Alan, I'm going to list you as 1st alternate at this point.
One of the two spots that I was holding was for SirFozzie, who ran the first WW game I participated in (X-Com) and he indicated in a PM to me that he is in. So I'm still awaiting a response from the other individual. If he is out then I'll slot you as #20. I'm excited with the level of response today and really looking forward to running the game. |

AlanT, the 20th spot is yours.
I believe the two votes in are officially the earliest votes in the history of WW - each is over ten days prior to the deadline. I'll have the updated story line posted over the next couple of days. |

I think we proved last game that when all the experienced players are dead it makes the game that much easier for the wolves. If I do turn out to be innocent do you really want to help the wolves by killing me off on day 1?

Wow. Actual game play before people even know their own roles. Seems kinda inane to me. But please don't listen to me.

Gram, you are correct. Of course, the movie was completely twisted and actually showed another guy as the victor in a final conflict. Just know that won't be happening here at FOFC. I've got three alternates listed - RPI, Schmidty, and Grammaticus. There is enough time between now and the start that I think there is a decent chance that some (if not all) of you will see time in this one. |

And as it so happens, I just realized that I'm going to be out of town a couple days after the game starts. (I should have actually read the start date before I signed up, eh?)
So, with regret, open up my spot. |
