finally after a decade of being in SLOP the plowboys have finally proved they are here to compete and make a name for themselves... i was begining to worry they would be the browns or potentially blue jays SLOP

Hahaha...I know that Blue Jays comment was for me. (You have to win back-to-back titles and then go 20 years without a playoff appearance first)

Ok, so..we're good to go. All of the playoff teams have exported, so I'm going to go ahead and run this thing here in the little bit.

Hahaha...just when we thought these would be pretty easy series to end, neither team seems inclined to go home.

Gettysburg and Memphis have a combined 11 league pennants and 7 SLOP titles between them. Wyoming and Grand Rapids have 3 playoff appearances between them, joined the league in '62 and '65 respectively and have never won pennants. It's blue bloods versus upstarts in this one.

Wow, the upstarts make quick work of the juggernauts and with that, SLOP will crown a new champ in Sunset Series XXXIV

Gettysburg gets struck by the curse that every team in SLOP that's attempted 4 pennants has been struck by, as it's just not happened before. Meanwhile, Memphis fails at the repeat.

File is up. I think I need to release a condensed schedule this week, because I'll be traveling again later this week and won't have reliable internet for uploading and so forth on this trip. So I'm going to try to get FA done before I leave, so we can do the season next week.

Congratulations to Wyoming on making the finals. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long and prosperous fake baseball run for the Robins.

Tonight, as well as sim to the start of FA.
We'd do one FA stage tomorrow and then sim Spring Training on Wednesday.

I generally don't complain about the talent level of specific draft classes, but 22 guys with a power rating of 10 or higher (37 guys with 9 or higher) is a little extreme.

We're likely going back to divisional play, too. I realize this isn't enough notice for the change crew, but..it was always just a temporary thing as I didn't want to add four teams in one year. One of the teams will be taken over by a friend of tvan's that I know in real life. The other team's owner is TBA.

For the division-loving crew, found a 22-team setup for divisional play, so it'll come back. Staying at 22.

Found an OOTPer who intends to join us, but preferred a rebuilding team he could make his own image, rather than taking over an established juggernaut. So the plan is to give him St. Louis and I will go back to Winnemucca, as HerbD has decided he's going to bow out.

Also, one of timv's homeys is joining but rather than expand, he's just going to take over Camden and move them to Nome, Alaska.
