Yes there is wolfboy. If I tell you what it is and it is obvious what player uses it later it will out the minister. Only a wolf would want that known.

As much as I like seeing BK called "wolfboy" on his first day back in the mix, I'm not sure how this is different depending on the name of the item.

If someone uses an item that takes someone out, and the description provided by the moderator points to a player, then the assumption will pretty quickly be "minister". The name of the item now, or lack thereof, probably isn't changing this assumption at a later date.

Yeah, that's the thing. What an item does is potent. The name? Who knows. That's why it's real curious that EF tells us what an item does but not the name.

DOLA - And if Hoops hadn't already I'd have pointed out the fallacy in EF's reason as to why he won't tell us the name.

That's a big assumption. It isn't necessarily true that using the item will expose them. (Like Crazy Granny didn't reveal her back in Danny's game). This was either a bad assumption on EF's part or he was actually told it would reveal.

I don't follow you. We know what the item does. If an item pops-up that does what EF says, we're going to connect the dots.

Strike that. If an event happens that tracks with what EF says, we're going to connect the dots.

Well, the multiple use arguement of EF means we might not connect the dots, but that also makes me wonder how it could be obvious in what it does.

We'll know what it does if , like EF says, it kills someone. But we might not know it exposes the person that uses it. If EF uses it, sure it exposes him because he already told us he had it. But since he can give it to the minister without knowing who the minister is, the minister can use it and we still might not know who that minister is because the item might not expose the person on use. Capiche?

OK, far as it goes. How does knowing the item's name cause a problem in the scenario you just described?

Ahh. Cause that's pretty much all I've been talking about. I'm not able to keep track of complex stuff, so I tend to only think about things like players strange refusals to be completely forthcoming with a reveal when they've already revealed the most important information.

Crimson, the problem with "exposing" is because EF named the person he would pass the item to instead of the name of the object being passed.

Anyway, I'm pretty unlikely to change my vote in the last ten minutes. Guess we'll find out soon enough if that is a good/bad decision ...

Ah I think I see the problem. My post 257 even tho it came right after 256 was not answering it. I was answering EF and hoopsguy's talks about the item definitely outing the minister which I think is not necessarily true at all. I wasn't responding to you, barkeep. And yes I do agree that "why not use the name" unless of course there's something in revealing the name he was afraid to reveal on the offchance that he might be saved.

Well I've learned in this game that players can be stubborn and withhold stuff for no reason.

Gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. I just can't think of a reason that revealing the name of an item is more detrimental than reveal its powers. I'm hoping one of those nice people I see as currently active in this thread and who are voting for ntn will agree and shift a vote.

I would but then people will shout WOLF at me. I'd rather get rid of someone under the radar like ntn. The weird thing about EF was, when he was threatening to reveal something I thought he was threatening to reveal an important villager role, but then it's an item.

I agree EF is suspicious, but I tend to think this is more stubborn villager. I'm not keen on switching, but will if it's a tie.

As the day concludes, you meet by the shores of the famous Mississippi. After some discussion, you narrow the candidates down to two major ones, and despite the push and pull, ultimately you decide to select EagleFan.

The Sacred Flame is ignited as a column brightly against the twilight sky. Prismatic flares seem to kiss the sky as the multivaried flames crackle with an odd spectral pop. You get the feeling that it is not quite there. Like most of it has manifested. but not all of it, as the spiritual part of the Sacred Flame keeps itself hidden away must like man's soul.

EagleFan moves towards the Flame, and enters. The Holy Fire envelops his body, baring forth his spirit. His body is destroyed, but with his spirit laid bare, you can tell, just before he departs this plane, that he was, in fact, a Lightbringer.

You check his things and confiscate a Colt Peacemaker as evidence. He appears to have been a normal Lightbringer, with no special abilities.

Day One Has Ended. Night One Actions must be submitted by ONE AM EST.

Well, I guess that pretty much confirms that a "pass" option is not happening pre-lynch.

In the post-game I'm going to be pretty interested to hear what the description was for the item that locked EF in on a "kill another player".

If it had anything attached to it to say it could be used at any time, then I think it might be fairly obvious. I'm not sure what the multiple uses thing was about though.

Odd that he didn't try sending it to the sheriff.

However, that was pretty much what I expected. I didn't get a wolf vibe from EF, just one of those stubborn villager things.

I'm likely to go NTN again just for the vote history, but we'll see what this night brings.
