Tonight it is Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat. Pretty good I prefer it to Blue Moon's pumpkin beer so far!

Shiner Oktoberfest and Magic Hat's Wilhelm "Scream" Pumpkin Ale.

Both very solid, but I really did love Shiner's Oktoberfest.

Three olive martini made with the new Dripping Springs Gin. The area around my house is turning into a lush's dream.

I'm a big fan of Black Velvet Canadian Whiskey. It's smooth. Soooo soooo smooth. And cheap.

Wanting to get better acquainted with whiskeys. Don't think I've had whiskey since college. Starting off with a bottle of Wild Turkey Bourbon.

Last night, a group of friends and I had a bottle of Crown Royal XR. Very smooth but pricey.

So my downstairs neighbor is a beer/wine salesman. He's moving out. He just dropped off 25 or so bottles of wine and 15 bottles of rum/vodka/tequila/absinthe/etc at my door.

He shall be missed.

Wow, how is it?

I'm on an old fashioned kick. Trying to find perfect mix. So far it's basil Hayden with bookers. No muddle, demura sugar and twist, or two.

Good but not great. It is "oakey" but very sweet. I taste a lot of cherry which is wierd.

I am on a rye kick right now myself.. The underlying sweetness is awesome.

Gin & tonic with lime.

Not sure what the right mix is but did essentially 50-50 and it tastes great.

Was driving up I-95 and kept seeing billboards for this place and realized that I actually had time to stop.

Smooth and complex. A real nice whisky.

I tried Heineken Silver tonight. Pretty decent lite beer (95 cals). IMO better than Michelob Ultra.

There is a brewery in Athens, GA called "Creature Comforts." It makes my friends favorite IPA called "Tropicalia". I'm not a big IPA fan but it is fine. Has a grapefruit flavor that works better than most IPA flavors. Last week I tried their Berlin Weisse called "Athena." If I become an alcoholic, it will be because I can't stop drinking it. It is a tart wheat that is just so smooth and easy to drink, I constantly crave it.
