my reason for picking him was basically he stopped a war. The Russo Japanese war was stopped due to his diplomacy and earned him a Nobel Peace Prize in the midst.

I fear we would have 10 or 12 founding fathers on the list and there was not that much talent there, but we revere them. Luckily, we've largely stayed away. I would've shot someone for taking Washington as their army chief, for example.
