regedit help?

Anyone an expert on registry editing? Or even moderate? I am trying to edit the font size for Windows Live Mail and changed the value data to 9, but default emails still use 10. Not sure what else I need to do?...

(Using Windows 8... Current settings in Live Mail don't let me use odd numbers as default email values, so maybe I'm missing another piece in the registry that would let odd numbers be used??)

thanks in advance.

edited for typo
