Early Notice (IMPORTANT)

On the week of August 6th through August 10th my wife parents are coming to visit. It'll be my 1st meeting them in person so wish me luck.

They have made a few plans that will consist of some travel for all day events. I usually start sims at 7:30am CT, but that week I'll start anywhere from 6:00am CT to the normal 7:30am CT. I could also not have time to do the season sims posts. It might just be a file posting during this time.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you all.

They live in Connecticut and I live in Iowa, so it's the perfect relationship. In fairness they are great though. I'm the 1st person they've liked of my wife's relationships she's had. The wheelchair seems to help the image in this type of thing. The disability has way more positives then negatives.

I don't want to take the week off because it's going to be my out of some of the little trips.

Thats the thing I like most about this being my second marriage, I've had a round of all these things already. I'm better when I have a practice round. I've talked to them over the phone a great deal and also used Skype a great deal. It'll be fun I think.

Funny you said that, Im not married again (been with her for 5 or 6 years though cant remember which), but I was better the second time around as well

I've been thinking about it

To be honest, I never bought ootp13 yet. When work got crazy, I kind of cut out most of my recreation from my life. After spending three weeks this last month out of town traveling, working 15 hour days I decided I need to figure out a way to infuse some kind of fun back in my life.

I tried playing Civ 5 a few times the past few days, but it just hasn't held my interest. I end up going back to working on things or just reading! Still really busy with work and traveling some, but need to add something in before I go crazy

You tell me which way you want to go Alan. If you'd like to play I have a spot for you open. If you'd like to commish again you are more than welcome. I'll be right here to take a sim when you are busy. You make the call on what you'd like to do. Again this will always be your league in my eyes, I've just had the honor of commishing for you.

I still haven't figured out how to install Statslab. I figured you'd got busy so I didn't bother you again.

Thats perfectly fine, but it was important to me to make sure you knew it was your call.

What ever it takes to get the Godfather back involved.
He can have the Hops if a team isn't available, and I'll lurk until the next spot opens up.
