INJURY SETTING.
OK. This poll is going to be more complicated, but I *THINK* doing it this way will give our commish/league administration a very good idea of what the consensus of the league is on this matter.

125 or more. Football is a game for big, tough, computer-simulated men.

A complete volte face from my attitude in HFL but hopefully even a pre-sim won't straightjacket owners into death-trap stadiums like the HFL has done.

If we go the level playing field, I'd be game for 150. If not, I'm all for 100. I went with 125 to represent that.

I have voted 150 but 125 would be ok too.

Yeah, I feel like we need some other questions answered before I can vote on this.

To elaborate since SD asked me about this in IM.
I would like to know whether we're leveling economcis and whether we are pre-simming or drafting before I answer this. It would also be nice to understand if injuries are way different than FOF2k4 or if it's just that everyone is leveling economics.

I voted for 200 because I'm a sadist.

If we're going the pre-sim history route, I'd vote for a low injury setting (100), even if we go with an initial level playing field, since it won't be a level playing field anymore. 15 seasons of randomness can change a lot.

Exactly. If we go level playing field and start in season 1 I would vote for a higher injury setting than a pre-sim league.

Remember we can always do a second poll with any of these large-pool polls once the field has been narrowed down...

That's what I was thinking (unless one result gets a majority, of course).

I was going to vote for 200, but for the right balance of fun and stress, I like 150 better.

My experience of 2007 (pretty limited but still 20 odd years of sims) is that injuries have been really toned down. I really think people will be surprised at how few injuries there have been at 100, I don't think I've lost one single starter to a CEI in that time and there have been weeks that have gone by without a new injury on the team. And it isn't as though I've been using significant (or any, to be honest) injury reduction tactics.

This seems to be converging on 125 as the preferred setting.

Not anymore when you take my vote out and apply it to the 100 or 150 group.

Un-stick. Probably a league administration decision, but the current average is 132.5, with 125 and 150 as the most popular options.
And MIJB, your change would only push it up to 133.3, or down to 131.7.
