Today's a big day!
Our baseball team has a double-header with our arch rival. They are 10-4 and 4-0 in the BVC (first game) and 3-1 in the PCL second game. Our head coach went to Marrietta's alumni day, so I'm in charge.
We are 4-6, 1-1 in the BVC and 2-3 in the PCL. If we can somehow sweep today more than likely we will get a bye in the tournament because we have beat all but 1 team in our sectional. If we play as well as we did last night we should sweep, we lost 10-3 to the #1 team in the state but it was 5-3 going into the bottom of the sixth and we had 3 errors in that inning. Plus our freshman pitcher let up 5 HRs and a triple. I'm excited!  |

Damn, first game we could have won we ended up losing 6-0 but we left 10 runners on base including a bases loaded with no outs situation. Second game we lost 9-1, we gave up 7 unearned runs.
Its amazing how a team can give no committ an error in one game, then 30 minutes later committ 6 in 3 innings. Oh well baseball is a game were you have to look ahead not behind. |
