Give Greg Jones a shot!

Hey, at least Fred did fantasy players a favor and took himself out of the draft early this year...

I saw this being reported a couple of weeks ago, at least based on comments from Taylor and coaches. It was on rotoworld.com. I'm assuming it's becoming more and more a reality now.

The Herd, spoke to the FTU Jaguars reporter....and said that since Fred was hurt last Dec. he still cant run and the team is starting to think that this could be the end of the season here....a decision to chase Travis Henry is happening right now.

Fantasy report for the NFL

Detroit News wire services

Fred Taylor, RB, Jaguars:
Jaguars offensive coordinator Carl Smith left open the possibility that Taylor could miss the season. Taylor is not expected on the field again until at least June because of knee surgery.

Or this from the Buffalo News:

Fred Taylor's knee injury seems more serious than the Jaguars are saying. He had an arthroscope on his MCL in January and the team has conceded he's out for June, and now new offensive coordinator Carl Smith has raised the possibility he won't play this year.

Seems like the OC made the comment, although Flasch is in Jax, so maybe something has come out since.

That was nice of him to blow his knee out before the season started to save all of us who pick him in fantasy drafts the trouble of having it happen in week 2.
