That is a touching story, couldn't make it through without tearing up. What an amazing young man and hats off to the 40 Soldiers who showed up at his birthday, just another reason I have so much respect for the men and women that serve this country.

As tragic as it is this child has so little time left, I have no doubt that this lifted his spirits immensely and allowed him to forget about his illness, if only for a short time.

Thanks for sharing Mizzou.

Amazing story.

I've mentioned this a couple times...my girlfriend works for a charity that assists children with cancer and their families. Stories like this happen in one form or another all the time and it's truly remarkable the kind of impact it has on the kids, parents, and siblings. There's just a lot of really good people out there.
