What Was That PBS Show?
Mid 90's, a show about a guy in his apartment. That was the only set as far as I can remember, just his apartment. He may have had friends, I remember a girl but not much else. Nothing comes up in the wiki list of PBS show so mayhaps it wasn't made by PBS but just ran on some affiliates. I think it was supposed to be some sort of artsy/folky/comedy thing, like Seinfeld for intellectuals. It was awful.

Ahhh yes. Thanks much. It was driving me batty. Although I think I somehow misremembred this show in conjunction with a local access show that had nearly the same premise and in my mind the two became one. Watching some of the stuff on YouTube it's not nearly as bad as I remembered.
