Huge underwater volcano erupts off the coast of Fiji

I know some of you are nerds like me that would be interested in this. There is some early pictures of the tsunami on the main island of Toga, but communications are down by ash. The waves are expected to hit the West coast in a couple of hours.

I have seen notes of caution, indicating that all the OMG videos out there are time-lapse, and the eruption wasn't as sudden as it appears from them. Let's hope, for everyone's sake, that's true.

We've just recently watched Moana and Eternals. I know how this ends and it's not usually good for us mortals.

I think they were in the 2 foot range. There are still warnings currently for Australia and the Japan.

There are still no communication from several islands of Tonga. New Zealand will eventual fly out, but the dust cloud is still higher than their planes can fly. Ash has hit 63,000 feet!
