It's not every day a doctor flat out tells you you have super sperm, and conceiving should have been practically impossible.

#2 is on the way. Fuck.

Impressive, but it will be your body's amazing ability to produce the odd Chinese super sperm that will get you in the record books. Cheers!

If someone was cut properly we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place.

I feel for you Coffee...

My 8 yr is here because of super sperm / botched vascectomy....I wouldn't trade it for the world, but the 5 yr gap between him and my 13 yr old caused grief on getting used to things...

I don't like hearing these "bad vasectomy" stories. Not at all.

That's the part I'm really not looking forward to. I was never dead set against only 1 child, but my close to 3 year old is crazy enough for 6 or 7 kids. I'm sure they'll be fine when the second is old enough. It's the whole getting there part.

That, and figuring out how the hell I'm going to pay to get my basement finished, since we need the space now.

As anyone will tell you, two kids is a lot more work, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's twice the work and three times the fun, as someone told me, but maybe it's three times the work and twice the fun. Either way it's such an eye-opener to see how different your next kid is, and I think it's really great for them both to have each other and to be part of that larger family unit. Good luck.

And yeah, anyone counting on their vasectomy, make sure you went back for those tests after the fact. Rather important. ;-)

Funny, we did that when our second was incubating also and it's a good thing we did. Congrats.

We have 2 - a 4 year old and 18 month old. My 18 month old is a tornado of crazy but I couldn't be happier we have them. It was certainly easier which just the one but your 3 year old will love having the new one around and should be a good helper. In the interim, hang in there.

Congrats. Ours are 27 months apart, and when they casually told us, "yeah, it's twins," we pretty much flipped out.

Just wait until she starts saying Dada in her high pitched baby voice. Rae started saying it about a week ago and it's the best thing ever...
