Jesus.

Sorry, I just felt he needed to be mentioned in as epic a thread as this one obviously was.

How in the hell did I miss this thread until now?!!? Genius!

GF and C went out last night and C started whining about how she feels left out now. Well, what did she expect. Its natural that we all hang out and because we have to be sensitive to the situation she doesnt get invited as much. She has begun to rationalize things by saying things like, "well, we shouldve broken up a long time ago." and "i tried to break up with him earlier." This is all just her brain trying to make it ok. this falls 100% on her shoulders and even though GF says, "He just needs to get over it" its not so easy. He's not mad anymroe but he says, "why would i want to hang otu with someone so selfish and vain? I cant argue with that, plus he did nothing wrong.

Good for him! I've never understand the whole being "friends" with the ex-girlfriend thing. It's just a cop out so the woman doesn't have to feel bad about screwing around on you.

UPDATE:

While at work yesterday GF called me to inform me that C is moving to Los Angeles as of May 1st. When I responded out loud BF, who was sitting next to me in the model home, jumped out of his chair as if he's just won the SuperBowl in FOF. Anyways, so while i lose a bit of rent money it'll be nice to get rid of the cloud that hangs over the house in that BF doesnt come over that much and C stays away a lot too.

Thought I'd bump for some Friday afternoon time killing and strolling down memory lane.

It's still funny the 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th) time around.

Much has changed:

C is dating a guy living in L.A. where they live together. 3R is about to finish massage therapy school. The idea of a 4R has dropped off of the radar probably somewhat due to my lack of pursuit of it and 4R's as well. Fi is now W. As you all know, the dogs, MtB and PtM, survived not 1 but 2 attacks by StWM. My neighbor Al is very helpful but his backyard looks like a farmland. BF married SG and SG now is in sales just like the rest of us. V still cleans the house and throws out little gems all the time like, "I can't drink no more. Havnt in 15 years. One sip and I'd turn into a drunk whore and I can't have no more kids..." I stress a bit more than I used to and probably need to see someone about it before I get an ulcer. The house is good though and 3R says she's moving out if/when we have kid(s) but I told her she didnt have to if she didnt want to....we have a long way to go anyways.

We are apparently getting attachments here. Check with SkyDog, you can probably just upload them straight into the thread...

not at all, the start of the thread was so innocuous. I had no idea it would become what it is, whatever it is. I wish I had more stories to tell but other than the drama at work where they tried to create a regional training position for me (which they brought to me, I didnt even initiate the talks) only to have EVERYONE sign off on it as a "great idea" then have no one want to get it signed off on by the CEO (which he signs everything now) so it went up in smoke with a "It'll happen, dont worry). In the meantime I have tailored back my training contributions and refuse to give them any free time.

I do.

I got a check just the other day for like $8. I also received something for One Tree Hill the other day for about $4. Pretty silly but hey, it is what it is.

Thanks again for the awesome diagrams, flere-imsaho. Just seeing post #374 brings back memories of how much fun this thread was.

Oh yeah, you too, Flasch186, for bringing up the depicted story to begin with, and the bump.

Holy crap, I've been following that story a bit but would never in a million years made the mental connection to this thread (in spite of there being a mention of the band name somewhere along the way).

edit to add: But wait, was it the singer that she was hooking up with back then or another band member? I haven't yet found that detail.

K, whew.

The rest of the band, to this point anyway, seems to be as stunned by the arrest as everyone else is.

As I recall, the guy in your question wasn't one of the good guys but this is a whole different level of evil, don't even want that kind of freaky/scary stuff popping up retroactively.
