I am open to trading down with the Cardinals if STeveW still wants to. I am considering Moss because of his value and the fact the Freeney may not sign long term, but I believe Freeney will sign a long term deal and we just gave a bunch of money to Robert Mathis, so I dont know if I want to spend a first round pick for a guy who will be a backup when the Colts have so many other pressing needs. I dont feel that any of the remaining DTs or OLBs carry a first round grade.

Hah, I bet the Raiders end up with a 2nd or 3rd for him during the real draft. Someone (probably the Packers) will put out a decent pick for him.

I think the best thing for the Colts is to trade down, but even moving down to 2.6 in the second round I am not sure I will get to make that pick before the actual draft.

Favor -

I am going to be gone from 12-3 today for a Final Exam, so can someone help me out by concocting a second round draft order? I'd appreciate it a lot. I thought I'd have more time but the guys at the back half have been cruising quicker then I thought.

Thanks,
- Danny

I'll take that trade up and send the 4th and 2nd to you....

With the 32nd pick in the 2007 FOFC Mock Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select DE Anthony Spencer from Purdue

With the 33rd pick in the 2007 FOFC Mock Draft, the Oakland Raiders select TE Greg Olsen.

He is just too good to pass up here and TE is a need.

He was my choice if I kept the pick, I like his versatility, I just dont know that he can transition to be the type of OLB the Colts like to use in their defense. Good pick though for you.I now have a second, 2 thirds and 4 forths (Indys, a comp pick, Az's and the Saints from signing Jason David)so I can really fill some holes, plus I only move down 7 picks.

I think he's going to be an absolute monster at the next level. If some team thinks he can legitimately feign falling into coverage occasionally as a 3/4 backer, he should go in the top 20. I wouldn't mind if the steelers took him at 15, assuming some of the other guys they want are gone first.

Since Indy runs a 4-3 and likes the smaller, faster guys I passed, but I agree in the right defense he can be a major player

Begin to slow down? We waited for almost 2 days just so Denver could NOT make their pick. With everyone logging on at different times, or not at all, I knew this would be a slow process. I dont figure on completing 3 rounds before the actual draft.

Detox, the board should reflect the Colts owning the 38th pick in the second round from Az

I think we're doing okay. Ignore the delay around the DEN pick and we're flying.

The bigger question will be if people are interested enough to keep going as we get into the 3rd round and beyond. I have 4 4ths, and I fully intend on using them (even if it means I have to announce "probable" picks).

I have 4 4ths as well, and time willing I will do the whole draft. I am already in another draft like this and we are in the 5th round

I'll venture a guess without looking at the numbers, but I'm pretty sure Portis' contract structure renders him untradeable. Totally unrealistic amount of dead money that would hit this years cap.

The Colts select WR Anthony Gonzalez, Ohio State. We have many needs on defense but the value is just not there on the guys I am looking at. We need a 3rd wr and injury insurance.

I love that I log on at work to check where we're at, and we're waiting on someone who's at work. At least he's serious enough to wait until he gets home and dive into hours of research on the available prospects (watching dvd's of the combine recorded from NFL Network, etc.) All I'm doing is picking a couple guys that I hope might be there, and if one is off the board, looking to maybe move up or look at who else might be there... (Looking at the Lindy's Draft Guide.)
