Medlen avoids becoming the next Charlie Liebrandt.

Meanwhile, in spite of the lucky success, shifts me strongly toward thinking Fredi ought to be one & done.

It's a foregone conclusion the Braves are done, right? They're a dead man walking. You could feelvit the second Bourn got thrown out at third.

I want to turn the game off and go to sleep, but I know I'll just lay there for half an hour wondering how they lost.

The only hope is the Lesbian keeping us alive for the next 5 innings.

Pitchers spot is up in the bottom half. Assuming they get out unscathed, you let Medlen hit, right? He can't be any worse than Conrad/Hinskie/McLouth.

One of the handful of kids (that can afford a Braves game / has parents who give a damn about baseball) that lives ITP most likely.

Yeah what's ITP? Is that a local Georgia term or something on the internet I am unaware of?

Wade is warming but I'd like to see Scott Proctor in the 9th for the save.

We took our kid to the last game last season. Being in SC, it was impossible to do so since it's a weeknight. Plus, this team doesn't really deserve the playoffs.

Still 7-6 isn't 7-0. They still have a shot. Why is the BAL-BOS game delayed? Rain?

My bad, thought it had been thrown around here a few times before.

ITP = Inside The Perimeter (i.e. I-285 that Pascual Perez once got lost driving around)

It basically equates with the Atlanta city limits & immediately surrounding suburbs. The opposite is OTP, which includes the more affluent counties & suburbs.

Come on Phillies. This may go 20. But that will help the Cards. Late night for the Braves if they win.

Rangers hold on against the Angels, and clinch the #2 spot in the AL. Huge difference between going to New York for two games vs. getting two at home against a team that is going to have a likely one game playoff.

Not gonna' lie, if the Rays make it as the WC, I'd gladly go to New York and face the Yanks. Want no part of the Rays right now.

SA found this and said "Gee, Foz, I bet you're like this right now"

I told him there were a lot more COMPOUND phrases in that
