WOOT! Just got a royal flush!
Too bad it is still WAY early in the tourney. I'm currently in the PokerStars $10+1 10 minute blinds tourney. Picked up a royal on the river to knock out AAQQ and a lower flush. This was my first time getting a Royal Flush in real competitions. It was nice!

The poker gods are cruel. Just lost a big stack of chips when my trip Queens was busted by a straight.

And it's over. Had a pocket pair of 9s. Flop came, and gave me an open ended straight draw. Someone put me all in, he had pocket kings. No help for me on the turn or river.

I'm in the $11 rebuy tourney, on a fair stack of 9K currently early in the 2nd hour. We're still 2+ hours from the money though.

14.7K after the 2nd hour break, blinds going to 300/600 with 50 antes. I gained about 5K chips during that hour, which is ok but will not be good enough next hour, I need some big hands, but I still have time.
I am 237th out of 455 remaining. 135 spots pay. If this is like the last few i've played we will not get into the money next hour, and are still about 90 minutes from that. |

Whew. After dropping a bit on a steal attempt, I try to steal again with T7s. I'm called by the BB. Flop is T87, top/bottom pair. Opponent bets, I go all in, he calls showing AK, and I doulbe up. 18.8K at the moment. 187/390 left.

moved to table 96, great, I don't know any of these guys. I just busted a shortish stack with AQ vs JT to bump up to 24K. 137/343 for now. Loooong way to go.

chipleader has 115K. Blinds will be in the 1500/3000 range when we get to the money I suspect. 40-60K will not be safe at that point.

25 minutes from 1500/3000. 600/1200 right now with a huge jump to 1000/2000 coming in 10 minuets. I have 26.8K after an AA didn't get paid off and a couple of steals, some good some bad. 137/270 left.

haha and back to 34K after two doubleups. K9s beats ATs and AQ beats QT. 106 out of 189. Still not enough to feel safe, I'd blind out if I was just trying to make the money(and fuck that, I want a win).

AJ was probably marginal, but as fast as the blinds go up, I dont' think it was too far off. After Robb's comment about my first all in there was nothing better than seeing KK and having him raise me again.
doubled up with KK vs AQ and have 90K in chips after the 2nd break. I am now 21st out of 171. The last two times I made it this far(both last week, 2 of my last 3 tourneys), I had a couple of steals go bad at 1500/3000 and became a short stack real fast. I'd really like to make the money but I also would really like to finish high up in the tourney, so I can't go too conservative. We're 35 away from the money, hopefully we'll get there fast. |

unfortunately I lost a bit trying to take that pot on a scary board. Blinds going to 2k/4k very soon which should move us up a couple of spots in the money very very quickly.

AQ, happy for a fold heh. 82K is barely above average, it'll get me to the next level though.

shortish(36K) stack raises to 12K. I re-raise to 24K with 99. Flop is Q9x, dingdingding. Dude has 12K left. Somehow folds. Up to 128K. Steal the blnids very next hand with 77. 136K. I am 16th out of 100 remaining.

I didnt see why he folded with only 13K left. Figure he must be trying to get into the next prize level. Still, a stupid play.

Up to 180K after a big stack calls a nice raise pre-flop when I have AA. Too bad he didn't have TT or something and shove it all in post-flop.
ATs next hand stole me the blinds. AKo next hand after that did it again, damn. up to 205K. 8th out of 86 remaining. |

Whew, dangerous hand there. 2nd pair w/ AQ against a stack that could come very close to busting me. Thank god he folded up to 219K after a couple of small hits. 7th out of 71 left.

yeah very. If the 88K guy goes all in I fold easily. The short guy goes in and there's over 70K in the pot and 30k for me to call. I think he has to show me an overpair for me to be able to fold that. If he showed me AK I'd 100% call. that was fun though

ugh, I forgot, I burned my time bank hours ago when I had to go afk for a few minutes. I had QQ on a KKJ board. Would have had 190K left if I went all in and lost. Was thinking, leaning towards folding, time ran out.

blinds going to 6K/12K after the break. I'm 5th out of 51 left with 286K in chips. Up to $155 once there's 45 left.
