The highest anyone had Alualu (most did not) was 28th. The Jags must have really, really loved him.

Thats the first big reach. What's funny is if the Raiders made a reach like that (as they did last year with bey) they would have been blasted. The guys seem to be going easy on the Jaguars so far.

Lynch is done in Buffalo. He'll either be traded or released by the season opener.

I think it's clear teams are not willing to trade up at all forcing teams to take their guy and not trade down and pick up their guy and some extra picks.

lol and I post that, there is a trade.

San Fran wants Earl Thomas?

Draft is so much more fun when the picks are suspenseful.

This I'd be pissed with. He's a better guard than RT. Davis or Bulaga please.

edit: Ha...didn't even notice your edit made it's way into my quote.

The more I think about it, it's not going to be a tackle. Unless someone was gonna trade up to 12, I don't see the point.

If I had to guess, they figure the first round has two CBs worth taking, and Haden went a little early.

Or they could be shocked Bulaga is still on the board and figure someone else would have dealt with Denver to take him. Denver's been trying to move down from the beginning. They want to pull a Belichick and get a lot of picks out of this.

I think the 49ers paid too much, but we needed a tackle, and Davis is better than Bulaga (in my uninformed opinion). Denver played good poker.

Hopefully the Steelers get one of Bulaga, Pouncey, or Dan Williams. Or trade down a bit.

I'm a little worried they are going to end up with the CB from Boise State.

LOL, I thought the head shake & dismayed look on Davis' face was because he'd been drafted by SF. Instead the shot was on delay apparently & they celebrated when they saw the pick.

Love the comments on the Bills facebook blog. Taking Tebow at #9 is just as dumb. And I'm not convinced on Clausen.

no way I really don't think they take Matthews here.

obviously they need a RB, but at 12 I'd just be surprised.

Parcells and his wheeling and dealing. Didn't think the Phins were going to pick at 12.

I just think thats too high for Matthews. but SD does need rbs.

was just thinking that Tomlinson was probably the last Wac RB taken in the first round. heh.

Berman is so freaking annoying. I hate how he acts like he is guessing about stuff, when he clearly has two dozen reporters in his ear telling him what is going on. I like the rest of the ESPN team, but wish he would just host instead of trying to be such an expert and a personality.
