FOFC Favourite Movie - Championship
Well, it's finally here. The masses have spoken and it is clear that FOFC's Favourite movie is a George Lucas story starring Harrison Ford. We will see just exactly which movie that is. The complete bracket can be found here.
No change in any records which are in the last post. |

Love both movies, but in the end, I didn't have to think about this one too much. Empire for the win, Alex.

I feel like I am one of a dozen people that never got into Star Wars.

Yeah, Empire should walk away with this one. Probably not a stretch at all for a bunch of 40-50 year old nerds to choose it as the overall winner. Way more iconic than Indiana Jones.

Very surprised we are having a gangster-free finale. (Unless you count Jabba the hut)
Very happy but surprised |

I will not be unhappy with either result, however, I voted for Raiders over Empire. While Empire is groundbreaking in many ways, I feel Raiders is the more original movie. Oddly enough, if this was Raiders vs Star Wars, Star Wars gets the nod, but I prefer Empire to Star Wars...

I had to go with Empire just slightly over Raiders. Close!

My final four bracket would include these two with Blade Runner and Apocalypse Now....and I don't even really think of Harrison Ford as a terrific/favorite actor, but if he's in all 4 of my favorite movies I guess he wins by default.

I would of bet on Shawshank vs Pulp Fiction. The Warriors and Rocky being personal favorites. Pretty shocked we are looking at these 2 films considering our demographics. I enjoyed them at 16, now, bleh.

Personally stunned Godfather isn't here. I figured it'd be at least a championship game lock when we started

Somehow missed this. My boys wanted to watch Empire so I had to go search and see who won. Such a great movie every time.
