I have direcTV and it's snowing but no other channels are acting up. And someone in our neighborhood just posted on Next Door asking if people are having issues with Fox so it's not just me.

Huh. I wonder if it's local Fox because others in my area are seeing the same thing.

The last couple of times I have seen Pam Oliver do her post halftime report, she can hardly talk - a lot of slurring of words.

Not a piss take: I couldn’t Google a note of any illness - worried if she is OK... Anybody else notice this?

She trending now, with a mixture of "get her medically checked out quick" and "is she drunk?"

I hate Aaron Rodgers.

Also, I wish he was the QB of the Bears.

That is all.

I thought she was a little off last week. Like she was having trouble coming up with words, slowed. Didn't see any of the game today.

Haha grew up watching MST3k in college and now my wife and I are huge fans of it. We have steadily collected almost all the DVD episodes from the 11 seasons.

Saints backup O-lineman tested positive.

But they did tracing, and no one else was a close contact.

If they had gotten sloppy with masks, distancing, etc. in the meeting rooms, their entire O-line could be out today.

Sweating the details matters.

Mahomes was clearly concussed, but I can’t see where the major impact was... it was a strange one

By all accounts, it's Andy Reid that calls the plays. That's not to say I disagree with you about Bienemy getting a shot, I'm just not sure the decision to go for it there has a lot of relevance.

Exactly why I consider a good bit of the interest in him kinda headscratching.

Either of these teams would be down by 14 to Green Bay after a half like that.

Brutal end for Brees. I really hope he doesn’t try to come back with another year of wear on the body. He can barely push it 15 yards down the field.

Shame is they didn’t have this defense when he was legitimately one of the 2 or 3 best QBs in the league.

I feel like Belichick would have benched Brees for Winston.

Heck of an effort by the Browns, that helmet to helmet hit that caused the fumble was huge. Although if he doesn't try to stretch for the TD it's a non issue I guess.

I feel bad for Brees, such a class act. Definitely going to miss him if this is it. (the way he looked back on his way out seems like a final farewell)

I'm torn for the Chiefs - Bills game but I have to pull for the Bills, I've always been a fan.

Brady - Rogers game should be great as well. Can the GOAT do it again?

I do wonder about the head to head hit in the browns game. I saw an article today decrying that touch back as the worst rule in football, but it has a ways to go to be worse than the catch rule.
Next week, I can't see the Bucs taking out the Packers, but I'd love to see Brady in the big game once again. Oh and anything but Andy Reid again.

I love the rule and will be very angry if they ever change it.

One change I do support is to make all fumbles that go out of bounds a change of possession. You know, the way it works in just about all other sports.

With the standards for what is a catch, at least they are approaching it the right way - even if they don't have it quite right, the logic makes sense. It's not perfect, but they get marks for effort.

With the fumble-into-the-endzone the disconnect between punishment (massive) and the theoretical problem being targeted (tiny) is so indirect, and so out of whack... it just feels like it was a rule created by someone who hates football. or who has never played/watched it. Or like it was written by a science fair level AI routine that kind of understood what the words were and what they mean, but couldn't quite execute it properly.

Seriously... fumble forward and out of bounds and you get that half yard. But do the exact same thing and the pylon happens to be there, and you lose the game. Fuck me, that's awful, and absolutely everyone knows it.

Yep, never understood why the rule wasn't that a fumble that goes forwards and out of bounds is returned to the point of the fumble.

It's almost like the thinking/logic stopped at "...but it's the end zone, so there's no other way to deal with it than to essentially treat it like an INT in the end zone."

Agreed 100% with this. You don’t like it, hang on to the ball. That’s the rule change I’d support, not the other way around.
