Bowl Bound College Football: An Outsiders View

I am going to run a dynasty using BBCF but not actually running a team. I gues more of as an analyst rather than following any one team. It will be a little trial and error at first until i get a comfortable system. We will use the flawed Bowl System initially and maybe look towards a playoff system later. If you have a favorite team i will be happy to post records and info as the system wears on. So without further adieu lets start the 2006 NCAA College Football season.

Missouri is 2-0 beating Connecticut 38-7 and beating NC State 30-16. They really don't have any big offensive guys and their defense while solid doesnt have any standouts. They look to be a solid all around team but the level of competition hasnt been much. They did get some honorable mention votes for the Top 25. Next up is Louisiana Tech.

West Virginia is 1-1. They lost to Texas Tech in the first game 27-24 and beat Arkansas 19-14 in the second game. They have a solid QB but haven't been able to put much together on offense. The defense has been average so far this year.

Week 3 Scores

Game of the week:

#1 LSU vs West Virginia

The #1 ranked team had all they could handle with West Virginia. West Virginia took a 17-10 into the half. LSU had outgained West Virginia two to one going into the half but the turnovers and big plays were in the Mountaineers favor. The Tigers came out in the second half and tied the score on a 7 yard touchdown pass to Lee Jeffery. LSU would score 10 more points in the 4th quarter to seal the victory. The West Virginia offense fell apart in the second half turning the ball over 4 times. LSU will be off next week and then faces Tennessee
