Wow. I got a text message a few days ago saying he was dead but it turned out to be a hoax. I was hoping this was not true as well. RIP Bernie Mac

Awww I read a few days ago that he had pneumonia and was in the hospital, lots of rumors that he had died. One of my favorite comedians no doubt.
RIP Bernie you'll be missed. |

I was thinking more Will Smith as Florida Evans.

This is pretty shocking to me. I heard he was in the hospital, but when I heard it was pneumonia, I was inclined to put it out of my mind. After all, who under the age of 70 dies of pneumonia nowadays? That just all seems odd.
Apparently he had some sort of condition (forget the name of it) in which lumps of cells will show up in his organs, but the article I read said it had nothing to do with his illness or passing. I did enjoy Bernie's comedy, and I'll miss having him around. R.I.P.
