Colorado rebounds from their loss to Arkansas with a 41-23 win vs USF. The game was closer then the score indicates, as it was 24-17 going into the 4th, but a botched option by USF in Colorado territory resulted in a return for a TD and that turned out to be the death knell.
GG as always Karl. |

GG Detox.
Detox played some great defense, and made the plays on O that he needed to. Another rough start to a season, but it's all good. I just need to stop falling apart in the second half of games.

Sweet! I'll play tonight.
I'll make the same plea about week 4 as it is my only home game until the end of the season (I have this home game and then my last whatever.. 4 or 5 games are all home) - so I have a lot of recruits that I'll be bringing in. But likely games will finish like Sunday or Monday so Saturday midnight should be a more natural deadline? If we have to move on it's not the end of the world, but that's my plea .

Well crap, you guys may finish tomorrow ..
We pwned UConn. We won 44-0 with our 2nd string in for the entire 4th quarter and some of the 3rd. Usually when I do that I end up giving up points, so it's nice to get a shutout win. I'm worried that I was too greedy in Recruiting. I've got a lot of 4*'s that I'm getting passed up on and only a couple of 3*'s even on my list. I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass.

A&M capitalized on a few early North Carolina turnovers and then played "3 yards and a cloud of dust" offense in the 2nd half to close out a 37-10 win.
Mike had some pretty bad luck throughout the game. His team dropped several key passes. After going into the half down 28-10 Mike put together a really solid drive to open the 3rd quarter that ate almost 6 minutes of the clock. Then down in the redzone with a chance to close the gap his highly rated quarterback just completely missed a wide open man in the endzone. For no apparent reason the pass went about 5 yards wide of his target and instead ended up in the hands of a defensive back. Ending the long drive that way after eating up an entire quarter really sucked away North Carolina's momentum. Good game Mike and hopefully you get some better luck the rest of the way.
