What's Horse Racing Manager?
Was over at GoGamer.com putting in my order for CM4 (or at least doing some research before buying) and noticed a game called Horse Racing Manager? Anyone know anything about it and is it worth the $20?

There have been a few discussions here, but nothing in much more detail than teh game's description on the site you linked. There was a demo - I suspect following the link to the company site might get you there.
Personally, I wasn't too impressed... but if I hear anyone come forward with a decent review, I might drop a twenty on it. |

There were two separate discussions here, one with Horse Racing Manager as the centrally discussed game and the other just discussing Horse Racing Sims in general.
There is a more extensive discussion over on the Gone Gold Forum, if anyone else is interested. |

I just went ahead and ordered this and CM4 from GoGamer. I know CM4 was a good choice and I hope this is worth the $20. I'm just bummed that GoGamer didn't have the Xbox version of Knights of the Old Republic available yet for preorder. I'd have just bundled them in one order and let them wait until the order is complete to ship.

i have horse racing manager.
It has alot of meat to it although i am not a horse racing buff (although i had a pretty successfull stable at simulatedsports.com) You have to get a horse thru auction, claiming race, classified ad or breeding. You have to train and enter that horse in races. You can adjust the horses diet, there is a shoefitter that i have not used just yet, there are several different methods of training that horse. There is compatablity with a jockey issues. Horses have running styles and perferred distances. You can upgrade and get a bunch of different buildings for your stables. There are some places which are better for breeding others have more pretiage for having horses there and some have better horse doctors etc I honestly don't have time and couldn't do all the options justice for the record i have had very limited success get a good horse and then not get any money makers till my money runs out |
