FOF4 Hall of Fame
Does anyone have the Hall of Fame working properly on FOF4? Because I'm up to 2018 in my game that was started with OPU, and have not had a single player inducted into the hall of fame. Am I the only one that has had this problem? Should I be getting HOF-ers in the upcoming years? Sorry if this has been covered before... I did search before I posted this and couldn't find anything. But yeah... do other people's HOF's work?

Could this 2 year, 5+ month posting haitus be the longest in board history? Let's get the research gurus to find out for us.

Lol uh... thanks. I used to be a somewhat regular poster on here... then I stopped coming as consistently, due to my own lost interest in FOF, and the board's general loss of interest in FOF (I never cared for the off-topic posts... which is just about every post now), so I haven't posted much lately. I still visit the board every now and then, but usually find nothing to post on. I'm sure I've posted at least once in the last 29 months though. Lol I didn't think anyone would recognize the name, but anyway... could anyone answer my question?

I have had similer problems. Either no HOF members at all, or only 8-10 after 25 years of play. I guess the requirements are much tougher than they used to be.

I remember the midget.
To answer your question, I do not know. It could have something to do with starting with an OPU however, since the players created in the OPU are very bad. It might just take awhile for it to build up good players. I dunno. |

I think the problem is with OPU. Everytime I start over with OPU it takes forever for any HOF'ers.

And he left us again, forever changed for the better; awaiting the day he would return.

Yeah, if you're playing an OPU, since the created players have no stats to base HOF decisions on you, you will have to wait until you get some players who have played maybe 10-plus years in the league, then you have the waiting period. So unless you have a player who was a stud out of the box in an OPU, it could easily be 20 years before you start getting HOF classes.

You should be getting pretty close, I got my first in 2021. I don't mind all of the off topic posts because it doesn't take me very long to browse through the board.
