Liverpool's striker Yakubu suffered a partially torn MCL and will miss the remainder of the season.


Stuart Downing has won the EPL Player of the Month award.


Brett Emerton of Blackburn came in 2nd, and Jonathan Douglas of southampton came in 3rd.


Blackburn's Matthew Harvey has won the EPL Young Player of the Month. Jamie Cook came in 2nd, and Jordi of Liverpool came in 3rd.


Newcastle's Steve Bruce has won the EPL Manager of the Month. I came in 2nd, and Micky Adams of Everton came in 3rd.

Today I've contacted Rooney with a new contract offer. The board will now allow up to 200,000/week. I offer Rooney: 200,000 per week, 10 million dollar signing bonus, 25 thousand per goal, and 10 thousand per assist. It is a 4 year deal. Hopefully, he will sign.

Today we host Sunderland in an EPL Match. They are currently 20th in the EPL. Outside of striker Marco Streller, the offense has been horrendous. Streller has 12 goals for the team. The defense isn't much better. Centreback Alberto Lopo is good, but the rest of the defensive line is not playing well. Their keeper, Luca Brunoni is good, but he is being overwhelmed by a high number of shots. Former Manchester United player, Gary Neville has been their most consistent player and they are using him at right wing more than right fullback.

Wayne Rooney rejected my latest offer because he feels he is deserving of a better basic salary

I'll have no choice but to try to move him this summer if he continues to refuse deals.


Silvestre, Duff, and Smith were all selected to the EPL Team of the Week.

Michael Wood has revealed that he wants to be in the first team at Old Trafford or he wants to be moved. This 20 year old is developing nicely, and I will try to start to work him into the rotation some.

Alfonso came into my office and told me that if he isn't going to get regular first team football, he wants to be traded! Jamie cook scored a goal for England's U21 team in a friendly with Bulgaria.


Wes Brown sustained an ankle injury in England' friendly match today. He will miss about 2 weeks.


My other 18 guys also played in international friendlies. I'm going to focus on the outstanding performances:


Darren Fletcher and James McFadden each had a goal and an assist for Scotland in their 3-2 win over Macedonia.

Christopher Eagles had a goal and an assist for England in their 4-0 win over Bulgaria. Stewart Downing had 2 assists for England.

Today we travel to play Arsenal in an EPL Game. Arsenal is 6th in the EPL. We are in 1st. We are 7 points ahead of Chelsea with 7 games to go. We are going to play our 2nd team today, because we have a Champions League Match in 3 days. Arsenal has no reason not to play their best guys. Their wingers, Jose Antonio Reyes and Salomon Kalou, are both playing superbly. Their strikers, Javier Saviola and Lukas Podolski each have 18 goals. Their offense is good, but the defense has been shoddy at times. Ashley Cole is 31 and is starting to slow down. Frank Wolf is a young defender and he still makes mistakes at times. Jospeh Yobo is a good centreback, but not great this year. MAnuel Almunia is having a bad season, and he has let in some soft goals. He is 34, and I would guess that he is coming to the end of the road as Arsenal's keeper in the next year or so.

Today we host Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Quarterfinal of the Champions League. Since this is a home match, we need to build a huge lead. Atletico de Madrid is led by the dynamic play of their striker Diego who has 17 goals. However, Diego is questionable for this game. Today we play West Brom at home in an EPL Match. We are currently in 1st place and 5 points ahead of Chelsea with 6 games to go. West Brom is currently in 19th place. They have a decent offense, but their defense is terrible. Kasper Lorentzen is a very good midfielder who sets up the offense. Striker Johan Elmander is the leading scorer with 10 goals. Striker Michael Chopra is also doing well. Their defense is led by Gary Doherty and Tom Huddlestone. Their keeper Gary Baker has had a very bad year. James Saunders hasn't done much better either.

Freddy Adu has been left to rue his penalty miss after Chelsea's English FA Cup Semi-Final Defeat against Tottenham.

Adu has told the press that he was gutted to miss a penalty at such an important stage of the match, but would still take another one should he be asked to do so."


Tottenham beat Chelsea 1-0 on an early goal by Pedro Mendes.

DARN DARN DARN!!!! Stewart Downing suffered a sprained ankle in practice yesterday and will miss about a week including our Semi-Final match against Newcastle today.


Today we play Newcastle in the English FA cup Semi-final. Newcastle is led by their star striker Ricardo Oliveira who has 21 goals on the year. Diomansy Kamara is playing very well on the left wing. Their new keeper, Andrea Abbate has played very well since settling into the first unit. Daniel Jensen is playing well in the midfield. Jlloyd (no not a typo) Samuel is leading the defense. This 31 year old left fullback is still quite good. The rest of the defense has been inconsistent this year.

Chris Taylor suffered an ankle sprain in practice yesterday and will miss about 4 weeks.


Manchester City Boss, Richard Money, has told the press that he doesn't want Manchester United to win the EPL Title and he will do everything possible tomorrow to make sure his team wins and puts a dent in our title chances.

I decide to reply, "There is no need for a long debate. Everyone knows Manchester City and Manchester United are rivals, so there is no need to talk about it. We will do our talking on the pitch."

Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0 in an EPL Match. As a result, with 5 league games to go we are 8 points ahead of Chelsea.
