So it had nothing to do with the outcome of the play, but am I the only one who saw the blatant face mask by Weddle missed by the refs on Brown? If the Steelers lose that game because the clock expires, the NFL would have heard about that one for a long, long time.

Kubiak really needs his head examined. Kicker had already hit a 52 yarder. Had a chance at end of half to hit another one and bring it within one score. Instead, a fake?????

Geez.

Not sure about the karma implications of that little trick play by the Chiefs.

Seems like the sort of thing that could draw a questionable block somewhere down the line, be a shame if a 346 pounder suffered a knee injury or something.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the whole series of plays. KC was more than happy to run out the clock, but Denver started calling timeouts. If you start calling timeouts, then you have to assume the other team is going to try to score.

Also, Denver looked foolish at the end calling timeouts. Ended up costing them an interception.

Cowboys were a Jekyll and Hyde team last night. If they play like they did in the first half, it will be tough sledding in the playoffs. If they play like they did after halftime, they look stout.

EDIT:

CB Jalen Ramsey is sick so far. Last two games? 9 passes defensesd, 2 picks, 1 pick six, and Defensive Player of the Week this week.

As a Jags fan, I am going to take my hits where I can!

Wonder if he's saying "Adderal" but really is hooked on meth? I believe they show up quite similarly if not identical on a drug screen.

So Carson Wentz decided his offensive line was not providing enough protection.

Carson Wentz bought his offensive line the most violent gift of all

Browns are up 7, they pick off a pass and whoever it was runs it all the way back but does that dumb ass move of stretching the ball to try and get it into the endzone. Of course he loses it at the 2 and the Steelers recover. They drive and tie it. Browns drive and miss a 47 yard FG. Steelers march and score another TD.

I recapped all that because I didn't feel like just saying, Brown suck.

Edit: Oh yeah, before the failed FG, RG3 took a sack on 3rd down that moved them back like 8 yards.

Browns score!!! Crowell with a 70 yard run to the 5 and then Johnson blasts it in. Browns wont die, look at that heart!!

Edit: I guess it was Atkinson that scored. Browns need to feed the Steelers a steady diet of Atkinson!

I mean... Steelers kicked from their own end zone. Browns returned it past midfield but there was a penalty on the Steelers. Browns took the penalty and ended up losing field position. So Browns.

Not only all this, but when the Browns got the ball back, they took a useless, unnecessary timeout. Now they only have 2 left and can't keep Pittsburgh from running out the clock and sending it to OT.

I wish I could watch it. I'm stuck with the Bills trying to score a TD down 27 points with 50 seconds left.

And they punched it in.

Stay Classy, Philly staffers:

Les Bowen (@LesBowen) | Twitter

Edit: Here's the key tweets, in "How Not to keep the press happy"

From an eagles beat reporter) During confusion over a penalty a while ago, we were all trying to figure out the call. An Eagles staffer yelled for us to be quiet. (1)
2) Many of us took exception, Jeff most vocally. He then went to the staffer and calmly discussed why the admonishment was inappropriate.
(3) A while, later, security guard comes and tells Jeff he is being ejected "for violating the fan code of conduct."
Other reporters are being told they will be ejected as well if they interfere with Jeff being ejected from the press box
Eagles Sr VP Anne Gordon made it clear to everyone objecting that she would be happy to eject us all, and that fallout did not concern her.

Pretty wild look in the stands at the Chargers/Chiefs game. Sidelines are nothing but red. End zone seats have some Chargers fans. Looks like the SD fans sold off the prime seats this week.

Do the requirements for being an NFL red include a lack of eyesight and a double digit IQ? Not sure how they miss a facemask against Josh Norman preventing him from getting a pick 6.

And there's a clear bobble by Garcon being counted as a catch. Someone needs to tell this crew the game started and it's one of the few that matters in week 17.

2nd time in 3 weeks that Kirk Grossman has shown up. Another half like this and he just might work himself into a job with the Jets.

The Falcons offense might be decent. 35 points in the first half, td's on every possession. Pretty good.

The Detroit GB game really needs to end in a tie tonight just to piss off Washington fans.

Edit: This assumes Washington wins
