Mike Schaplowsky aggressive play leads to a birdie and he closes with back to back birdies but that bogey at 15 is going to haunt him a bit (E) - shoots 2 under on the back and for the round...

Rob Nielsen - easy pin makes for an easy par for Rob (-1) - 1 over on the back, but 1 under for the day and the tournament.

Will Brown - laser focus helps player read the tricky 16 foot birdie putt which is converted (+1) - even par on the last 9, but 1 over for the day.

David Ginsberg - after being in trouble the entire hole players makes a 3 foot breaking downhill slider from 16 feet to save par (+2) - pars out the back 9 and finishes the round 1 under par, but it won't be enough to overcome the poor first round.

Brian Babson - perfectly played left to right drive is long and set up a birdie (+2) - 1 under on the back, but that doesn't come close to fixing the mess on the opening 9.

Ches O Peake - solid par (-2) - 2 under on the back gets him to the weekend.

Frank Justyce - made a run at birdie but the putt burned the bottom edge (E) - shoots 3 under on the day, one of the best round of the day, but it isn't good enough to get him to weekend play.

Jimmy Fujita - textbook par - (-1) - 1 under front, back and for the tournament so far.

Don Jaily - textbook par (+3) - 2 over on the back - and 4 over for the round.

Chucky Dawson - solid par (-4) - 2 under on the back gets him to 4 under for the tournament.

The Texas Open - Round 3

Hole 18

Rob Nielsen - excellent consistency in swing mechanics helps Nielsen close the round with a par (-1) - unfortunately for Rob his 1 under on the front was undone by going 1 over on the back.
Jimmy Fujita - perfectly played hole - birdie (-3) - after a quiet front 9 Jimmy goes 2 under on the back.

Des Courtney - textbook par (-4) - adds a 2 under back 9 to his round to finish with a 69 today.
John Puller - able to 2 putt for par from distance thanks to an excellent lag putt (-3) - finishes the round 2 under par.

Ches O Peake - didn't work the ball left to right off the tee so the ball found the left rough and put him in a tough spot, he was able to battle out a disappointing par though (-1) - pars all 9 holes on the back and finishes 1 over on the day.
Malcolm Reynolds - solid par (-2) - birdies at 11 and 12 carry him to a 2 under back 9 and a 1 under round.

Ray Vecchio - 2 putts from distance for par (-5) - 1 under front 9, 1 under back 9, 2 under round.
Jesse Porter - solid par (-5) - gets 2 under on the back to finish the round 2 under par.

Jake Doyle - solid par (-8) - didn't match the blistering pace from the front 9, but did drop 1 additional shot on the back to close out the round in 68 stroke and to move well up on the leaderboard.
Harold Finch - solid par (-2) - even par on the back, 1 over for the day

Chucky Dawson - consistency helps player par the hole (-6) - close out the round in 70 strokes for the 3rd straight round.
Will Robie - 3rd shot approach is middle of the green and player 2 putts from 24 feet for par (-2) - after terrible front side did manage to go 1 under on the back. Closed the round 2 over par.

Ray Kowalski aggressive play on the tough pin is a bad play and it leads to bogey (-3) - a crushing 3 over par back 9 drops Ray well off the pace heading into the final round.
Benton Frazier - perfectly played left to right drive helps position player to attack the hole and convert the birdie (-6) - 2 under par back 9 perfectly offsets the 2 over par front.

Art Mullen - solid par (-10) - blistering back 9 of 3 under overcomes the poor 1 over front 9 and he heads into Sunday with a 2 stroke lead.
Tommy Phan - solid par (-8) - managed to go 1 under on the back just like the front so he dropped 2 strokes in the 3rd round.

Guys, I'm very sorry, but I won't be finishing this up until next week. I'm going to be out of town for a few days and I won't have time to do the write ups. I was hoping to finish before I left but the lost data really set me back.

But go ahead and submit any SOP changes so I can run the round.
