Another solid episode, enjoyed it. Not much action but lots of "tension".

WoT > Rings of Power.

Think Amazon needs to shift some talent to that side.

It was a great episode. As a non-book reader, I’m curious as to what moment or scene was being referred to in the Tweet.

I will let you know when she says. There have been several guesses, but no one knows for sure.

Solid guess. The others I saw were Lolial sining the tree song, and Moraine and her sister.

Those were all good scenes. One thing I really like about this show is that it has pretty cool side characters and lets them have cool moments and do cool things.

I’ve enjoyed the second season more than the first. Cooler villains and the stuff with four main characters has been more interesting. I felt a lot of stuff with the kids from the Two Rivers - Rand (aka Bland) and all - was pretty dull. This episode was by far the most interesting Ygwaine(?) has been.

I think from a book perspective, clearly the scene was the Egwene one. It was memorable in the book, as well as on TV.

But in another statement shhe said it wasn't who you would expect. That interaction was definitely expected. It was very well done.

Also, wow they cast some attractive people. There is no way to do anything but hate Renna, but if she came at me with a leash I am presenting my neck.

I agree, it was extremely well done. My wife hasn't read the books at all, and she was amazed by the acting job. Certainly the progression from the beginning of the episode to the end was very visible both on the inside and outside.

And yes, the Seanchan girl was very attractive, LOL.

Team Selene here.

(I'd okay with being strapped to a bed posts)

Just to add a little on "Selene." There was some controversy on the casting. Lanfear as written is one of the most beautiful women to ever have existed. That was always going to cause some controversy, because how you might rate that I might rate that could be majorly different. Then there is the fact that "Selene" is supposed to be a younger version of Lanfear. Selene was described as Rand's age, whereas when Lanfear shows her true form she is older.

For the show, it made sense to just have one Lanfear/Selene. Also having her appear older considering she is several thousand years old.

Well that was something. I am not surprised Moraine was just shielded. The last episodes is going to have to do a bunch of heavy lifting

Jam packed episode. Learning lots of new/neat things in the world & lore.

I really hope there's not a major cliff hanger next week.

So that's what the horn does.

The ending was a little too Deus ex machina but still fun.

That ending though! The show makes such great bad-guys. It is taking the book bad-guys that are just caricatures for the most part, and really fleshes them out.
