Rodman marries (again)
Can anyone say "gold-digger"? Surely no one is going to marry that freak for love...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ex-NBA Star Rodman Weds May 14, 7:43 AM EST LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Wedding bells and birthday cake were apparently in order for former NBA star Dennis Rodman, who married his girlfriend on his 42nd birthday. Rodman married Michelle Moyer on Tuesday in a private civil ceremony in Newport Beach, the Los Angeles Times reported. Rodman, who played for the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks, said the "real wedding" will take place June 14 on the beach in front of his house. "Everybody's invited," Rodman said. "We will have a ceremony and a concert too!" That may not be great news for police who have been called to his home more than 70 times because of loud parties. Rodman met Moyer, 36, in a bar four years ago and have two children together: a son, D.J., 2; and a daughter, Trinity, 1. They have separate residences two miles apart in Newport Beach and don't plan on changing their living arrangement. "We won't live together," said Rodman, who's been married twice before. "I like it like that. She and the kids come over on weekends."

Is remarying considered to be a dolamarriage or a wigmarriage?

I think a wig-marriage would be something a morman would do (bigamy) and a dola-marriage would be someone who got married immediately after a divorce...

Hmmm... what would Dennis Rodman have to do, at this point, to become interesting? Eat his children? Win a Nobel Prize?
I dunno... he's dug himself a pretty deep hole, in my book. |

This is the strangest arrangement I've ever seen. I thought maybe he just didn't want to be bothered with someone else's kids, but they're HIS KIDS! It's like they got a divorce and are separated and he's got visitation on the weekends, except they got MARRIED to accomplish the same thing. WTF?
The only thing I can think is that this was a compromise between him kicking her to the curb and having to pay a huge alimony/child support bill and her wanting to get married. She gets the marriage, he gets rid of her during the week. If this was all due to money, then neither of them deserve to be parents to those children.
