Trading more difficult than ever??

I don't know if this just occurred in the most recent update or if my recent trade attempts have simply been unlucky, but I'm finding that when I try to trade highly rated players, there isn't a single team willing to take on their contract, even when the contracts are favorable. It seems like anyone being payed over 1 million/year is off the table for even the teams with the most cap flexibility. The only trades I can make are those that are proposed to me after training camp.
Is this the game functioning properly or does the game really not allow perfectly reasonable trades?

Trading players in SP has never been a big thing in FOF. The game is designed so that a large portion of players are simply untradeable. I believe there’s a help file entry with some detail about it, but the bottom line for me is that player trades aren’t all that frequent in the NFL, so no big deal.

The easiest players to trade—by far—in SP are youngsters with good potential, so if you want to be able to trade a lot, simply ignore positional need when drafting, grab good guys, and trade them for players at positions of need.

They're certainly becoming more frequent though. We're seeing a lot of NFL teams adopt a sort of MLB approach recently it seems, trading valuable pieces at the deadline if they don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.

Not that I'm saying it should change in game.

I would argue that maybe it should be changed in the game, but I'm not complaining too much. Still love the game. :P

Salary cap changes have deifnitely given teams greater incentive to trade.

Another additional question...I'm getting "your opponent refuses to trade for a player you just signed". Makes sense, but how long must I wait?

You can’t trade a player the same year he was signed. Next season.
