all good things....

...finally come to an end....42 dead villagers in a row...thats gotta rank up there with Ripken, Gehrig, and Farve in terms of the most amazing streaks in history!!!!

Darth Vilus should be forever immortalized as the wolf that finally got caught.

It must have felt very odd for you to do a write-up that involved a wolf dying.

Hmm, I never even thought to track that. That's interesting. It does sound amazing, but I wonder how many similar streaks there may have been that we haven't tracked.

Another great streak would have to be the two or three year odyssey it took to finally see hoops lynched as a villager, IIRC.

Still bitter about that one - took a combination of dumb things happening the day before to keep me from proving my "goodness" and a few people who were just bound and determined to lynch me anyway. Oh well

But yeah, Saldana's run of killing villagers as the moderator is pretty extreme. I'm happy to have played a part in that one, along with SackAttack, in the Star Wars game, but there was one heck of a lot of people contributing in the Harry Potter game and this one as well to get up to 42. I think it was 18 or so in the Harry Potter game.

The other part about that is the number of "bad lynches" - figure that it had to be around 20, which is a really big number if you figure that the chance of getting a wolf on any random lynch is 20-25%.

Dola (haven't used that term in awile)

Lets say that the average chance of lynching a wolf is 20%. It fluctuates from game-to-game and day-to-day within a game, but just to assign a number.

The chances of 20 straight bad lynches, using 20%, is 1.15%.
If you use 25% then it jumps to 3.17%.

Not quite as high as I thought it would be, but still a big time math outlier

Actually, it was kind of liberating...i have had all these ideas for writeups in my head for years that i never got to use...i have never gotten over not being able to use the Black Knight writeup for an actual wolf...i had been planning that since i came up with the game and by the time i used it (on a villager) no one even cared because you were all so spent by getting a shutout thrown against you.

Pretty sure this is the first game I've played that Saldana has run and I am a villager. Coincidence? I don't think so

I don't believe I've ever been a villager in a Saldana game

I am going to go ahead and blame the "victim" in that you were using your streak as a defense when you were a wolf. But your villager defense ability was nothing short of fantastic especially considering what a known threat you are.

Hoops is scarily convincing as a wolf. Great skill for a villager, or it would be if he weren't scarily convincing when he's a wolf. He gets us twisted around his finger too easily.

Frankly, it's been a while since Lathum pulled off an amazing wolf play. He's been taking it easy on us. I'm still amazed at some of the shit he pulled even when he already knew he was a wolf.

I had no idea about the streak until this game. Glad to be part of breaking it!

Bah, I wasn't even dressed provocatively!

And, because I'm too lazy to multi-quote, I'll address Autumn's comments as well. The guy I marvel at is Dubb, as it feels like I have to post 10x as much as him to be 2/3 as effective in leading people around.
