Tomorrow I marry my sister...(Pun intended)
Just wanted to share with you something special..
My sister and her fiance approached me some time ago and asked me to be the one to marry them. I now have my ministry and I will be performing the ceremony tomorrow evening in front of some Polar Bears at the Memphis Zoo... It's a great honor for me that they respect me so much in order to do this. Also back story: I received guardianship over her when I was 18, helped her throughout High School and was there for her throughout college and assisting her along the way, she is basically my oldest daughter...and I have always viewed her as such...So in a way, this day is beyond special for me.

It went off with a couple of minor hitches, this being the first wedding ceremony for me I forgot to tell those attending to sit and I didn't notice they were standing I was so nervous. Second, the mic fell off just as I started the ceremony...I managed to get emotional twice during the ceremony, right at the beginning and then right when I pronounced them man and wife.

That's a nice backdrop to conduct the ceremonies. Love what they did with that part of the zoo.
