2024 Regular Season Spoiler thread

Congrats Ben on kicking my butt twice this year. That first game was a great shootout, with you sealing the win with that pick at the end. The second game was just a butt kicking on your part. I've got to get past you somehow. I think a change at QB next year might be called for.

Congrats to the rest of you playoff teams too. I'll be pulling for division mate Atlanta though.

DBUpdater is *STILL* running, by the way. It appears to have processed everyone but the rookies, so it shouldn't be terribly long now.

I'm pretty happy with being able to get 43/43 QB Will Dobler to perform so well. I put my team on the back of Preston Bradford the last two seasons and he was just too INT prone. Dobler's 30/11 number is much more appealing than the 18/16 from Bradford last year.

My defense again played out of their minds with 1st place in just about every important passing category and 2nd in PPG.

Looking forward to the playoffs. This may be the best MP team I've ever had, and strangely enough we don't have much at QB.

Pretty much the opposite of last season when we shit the bed down the stretch...this time around we win 4 in a row to sneak into the playoffs. Nice!

Am I a complete moron or are those pro bowl teams not listed on the site anywhere? I can only find the Dogbyte awards.

No, you're not. I added Pro Bowl functionality 2-3 seasons ago, but never linked to it in the main wrapper. You can get to it from the player page of any guy who made the team, and the direct link is:

PRO BOWL TEAMS

Go to the bottom, and there's a dropdown to see past teams.

Sandbox still not delivering. I'm pretty frustrated with our defense, which seems to suck -- best explanation I have is that we are just counting on too many pups out there, and it will get better in time. Offense continues to outperform its apparent talent level, so that's pretty good, I suppose. But this roster deserves to be in the postseason, but for my poor/misguided stewardship.

Great season for the Patriots, though some of it is surely a mirage. We were outgained on the season by a pretty hefty margin. But, I like the promise of rookie Artie Makowski at QB.

This year feels pretty much like last year. I think we have a good team that is likely to lose to Detroit or Atlanta in the postseason. Maybe we should actually try and get a good QB eventually.

Dejban had two different seasons this year, 4 picks in the first 9 games, then 12 (TWELVE) in the final 7 games. We still somehow managed to win 6 of those, so I like that. Overall he had a good year, what with our drive killing running game getting in the way a bit too often for my liking.

The defense lacked some luster after the horribly ill-timed volatility beatdown superstud CB Donny Lucas received before the season began, but we spread around the sacks and managed to keep ourselves in some games we could have lost otherwise with big plays and timely stops.

13-3 is good, but we need what little tweaks we did make to put us over the hump. Felt like we hit a bit of a wall at some point.

And if we see Cleveland in the playoffs and turn the ball over 4 or more times again, so help me..

I can't say I'm surprised to see a 8~8 record. My defense was terrible and I think my offense did what they could with it, I just didn't have the cap room this season to get all my pieces together. Some goofy spending in years past plus a draft bust have my hands tied for another season or two and in the AFC North it's rape or be raped so I guess I'll be the catcher for now.....

The great thing about this league is that I've got the results of my efforts and now it's time to start team building again already, how exciting . I love the offseason and I can't wait to really put some time into scouting this year's class as I just didn't have the cap room to even think about rebuilding last year. I hope everyone is enjoying this as much as I am

Great season for you Julio and Shard, do us proud in the playoffs!

Our division has been pretty brutal, top to bottom, good teams year in and year out for the first 4 seasons..
