I walked away (for reasons stated above) but am still comfortable with my assessment that it's more than worth the money.

I went ahead and bought it. Only played a few friendlies so far but it seems pretty smooth. I'll get into it more over the weekend.

Mate I am missing it but when setting up a new game is there anyway to see the players of the team before confirming?

Also, I miss the media prediction ranking on the setup screen, always used that to gauge how difficult a team would be to take over, especially in leagues I know nothing about.

Yes if you purchase it from the Kindle store it should work fine.

I'm afraid that option isn't present because the physical data isn't fully initialized at that point.

Ok that's not a bad idea - I'll see if there is room to add something like that into the next version (no promises as our smaller mobile devices are somewhat space challenged).

Okay last question do I need an active internet connection to play or once I download can I just play on the Kindle? Going out of town and some places will definitely not have an internet connection. Also I am assuming if I purchase for my Kindle I would have to purchase separately for my Android phone?

Playing a new career with FM18Touch. Lower league again. And nearing the end of my first season, the top goal scorer on my league is my top striker, and the second highest goal scorer in the league is my backup striker. Again, using default tactics. Feels familiar.

FMTouch is basically FM PC ported to the tablet, nothing to do with FMM I'm afraid (so you're better off posting in the FM PC thread about that).

If you've any feedback on FMM18 I'd be happy to contribute (but at the moment I'm not involved in FM/FMT).
