Older Movies with a twist
What was the first major movie with a big "twist" as part of the plot?
Psycho comes to mind for me, but was there something earlier? FWIW, I don't think that Rosebud was a "twist" b/c the whole movie was about trying to figure out what Rosebud meant. But feel free to disagree. |

Sleuth. The original from 1972 with Michael Caine and Laurence Olivier. Not the remake with Jude Law, that one is dire.
