God I HATE Fox!

So, I'm in the Atlanta area. When the Falcons aren't on the 'home teams' are Carolina or Tampa. Tampa is playing Washington. Decent game, but nothing too special. HOWEVER, Carolina is playing Indy in the battle of 5-0 teams. So what does Fox show? That's right... Tampa/Washington.

Grrrr....

I thought you meant JOHN FOX, the Panthers headcoach.

CBS is showing GB/KC.. that's good, but Fox is showing Pats/Giants?? I don't care about that game at all

stop your crying and be grateful you don't live in the NYC area. Jets/Giants all the time and nothing else.

Is that really any better than Dallas and Houston all the time?

Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. Watching football in NYC if you aren't a Jets or Giants fan sucks.

Stop YOUR whining, those are your home teams . It's kinda obvious you are going to get your home teams. To Atlanta-area Carolina and Tampa are both 2nd home games, which means they should have picked the better matchup.

Read TMQ to understand why I'm one of the unlucky and frustrated. Southern exposure in the middle of Manhattan - hah. I even live downtown, but my view is of the building next door. I'd happily get a dish, but in NYC that is rarely an option. And I hate the Jets and Giants - they are so boring to watch.

dola,

Of course, all my complaining is hypothetical since I'm stuck at work, yet again, on Sunday.

And one more thing - the worst part of NY NFL TV watching is that they almost never have the Jets in Giants in the same time slot and they more often than not do not show a game opposite the Jets or Giants. In other words, on lots of Sundays you get the Jets game, then the Giants game, and have no competing alternatives on the other network.

Why would anyone want to watch any game other than one the Cowboys are playing?

Its not that I don't like watching the cowboys play, its just that you only get to see about 15 minutes of fooball inbetween the sideline shots of Parcells now.

Hmmm, here in Greenville, we got Ind/Car on FOX and GB/KC on CBS. I loved flipping between the last 2 minutes of KC and the Car overtime.
