Light-O-Rama (also known as the Clark Griswold Syndrome)......

OK, so has anyone else gone all Clark Griswold and pimped out their house with this gadget? My winery is about to get the treatment for this holiday season. I've purchased 6,000 LED C6 lights, a set of outdoor speakers, and a Light-O-Rama starter pack that includes:

Two Showtime Pro Lighting controllers

A Showtime Pro Standalone Director

and a Showtime S3 Software Suite

Light-O-Rama Showtime Software Suite

I also purchased all three of the pre-programmed Christmas shows, allowing me to do three different ~20 minute shows. With shows starting every half-hour, that means someone can stay for 1.5 hours and not see the same song twice.

Christmas Pre-Programmed Sequences

We're excited to use it as a draw for the winery because there's nothing like it in our city and we're adjacent to a 4 lane highway that carries 20,000 cars a day. We also are located in the center of 180 acres of land, so no worries about pissing off the neighbors either which often happens with some of these displays in residential areas.

I'm doing two controller boxes with 6,000 lights. We'll start there and expand each year. Here's what it looks like with 10 controller boxes and 50,000 lights.

A static display but 500,000 lights on a private residence in Boston (along the Arborway). He didn't do it last year but said "next year". We'll see.

And, yes, he built a crown on the roof.

Here's a one minute video of my test run last night. We'll be open for viewing to the public starting tonight. Really pleased with how it turned out. Show will be 18 songs and 56 minutes. Will restart at the top of every hour.
