Depodesta gets his guy this time around. The Browns are hiring Stefanski.

You play it conservative and kick a field goal on 4th and 1 and then fake a punt on your own 30? What the hell is Bill O'Brien doing?

My wife said the same thing.

If the Chiefs win, I think that play is the turning point of the game.

Nonsensical call. Even if you get that you’ve still got 20 or 30 yards to go to get any points. Given that the momentum was just turning, to do that there was nuts.

If they lose this I’m not sure how he’s your coach on Monday.

When you're up 24-0 like that and your opponent if visibly frustrated the last thing you want to do is do something to get them back into the game emotionally. If the Chiefs were going to get back into this you have to make them earn it. Not hand it to them.

The end of season NFL coverage is amazing in the UK - we get Jeff Reinebold as part of the studio team, and I don’t know if there is a better pundit in any sport.

And the "win" on the fake would still leave you thirty or forty yards short of even a field goal.

It’s the kind of call I make in Madden when I’m pissed that my previous third and seventeen play didn’t work. Only difference is you can’t rage quit and reload in the real NFL playoffs.

That explanation is amazing. Serious question... does Bill O’Brien actually know you are allowed to punt out of bounds?

There are a million superlative ways to describe that game.

I tried it this way: a couple minutes into the second quarter, the game was "obviously over" one way, and then two quarters later, the game was "obviously over" the other way... and I've never seen anything like that before. Crazy comebacks, yes, but never a game that flipped so 180 and then fully doubled back on itself that way.

I've watched the Seahawks the last 3 weeks and it's interesting that everyone seems to ignore the fact that Marshawn is 33 years old and hasn't played all year. The announcers still hype him, the Seattle fans have been hyped to have him, the coaching staff talks about him carrying the load in the running game. He's now at 28 carries for 42 yards in his 3 games. Lets stop pretending Beast Mode is just waiting to break out.

Wonder what the Vegas odds would have been right before the failed 4th down conversion.

I don't agree at all with going for 2 to cut it to 3 with over 9 and a half left to play.

Well I don't think the Packers match up well with the 49ers and I don't see Tennessee scoring enough to keep up with the Chiefs.

So we can all look forward to a Titans/Packers Super Bowl.

Yeah, I really agree with this. It's a cool story, but there were entire drives that were ruined by trying to get a 33 year old who hadn't really played in 18 months going. Meanwhile there were younger running backs who have been effective much more recently like Alex Collins, Charcandrick West and Andre Ellington available - plus I thought Homer actually looked pretty decent, especially catching the ball. Maybe if they aren't running Beast Mode into the line so much in the first half they get a score on one of those drives, and it's a very different game. He's a decent short yardage back but clearly not anywhere close to a starting caliber RB any more.

The Bears hired a failed Bengals OC that was a volunteer assistant at Penn State as OC. That tells you everything you need to know about the perception of Trubisky throughout football.

Luke Kuechly becomes the next early retiree from the NFL.

Is this the start of a trend for superstars earn tens of millions dollars in just a couple of years and then retire with relatively good health?

Patrick Willis (30), Calvin Johnson (30), Gronkowski (29), Luck (29) and Kuechly (28), its already a trend I think.

Though he had so many concussions and thousands of smaller hits, he's anything but healthy. CTE and a really sad decline later in life feels inevitable already, I think its smart of him to limit the damage as much as possible.

One of the most disturbing things I’ve seen on a football field. At least with a gruesome leg injury you know it will eventually heal. I really hope he’s retired in time for all those head injuries to not affect his quality of life.

Not a fan of that players coalition commercial being on during the AFC title game. I firmly believe we need social justice reform in this country, and those conversations are important, but I don't want to have to explain to my 9 year old why a cop shot someone for no reason while we are trying to watch a game.

When the society devolves to the point of bread and circuses, if you don't confront the social justice issues during the circuses, they don't ever get the attention they need.

Packers impersonating the Vikings at the Eagles in the NFC Championship game from 2 years ago. Just dont even look like the belong on the field with the 49ers.

I mentioned earlier that this is just a bad matchup for the Packers. It's going about as I expected.

The 49ers are going to make Rodgers beat them and I don't think he's capable of doing it against a defense this good at this point in his career.

Great run by the Titans and Vrabel but in the end they were wore down. Good luck 49ers.
