USFL openings

USFL has about 10 openings. Franchise tags are set to hit Friday so if you are looking to draft this is the perfect time to get in. Also if you like rebuild projects like me there is at least one very solid candidate.

It is also a great league for new players as it is not too serious and everyone is ready to share their knowledge of the game.

Open teams

Minnesota - Very average roster. They have the 18th pick in the draft.

Richmond - Pick 16th. Was managed by Red Zone until recently so the team is set up to take a couple more runs.

New York - pick 3rd overall. Up and coming team. There are some good players on this team and a decent 2nd year QB. Could compete this season with the right GM.

Los Angeles - Pick 1.22. Solid roster including a stud QB and WR.

Anaheim - pick 1.1. A couple of young stud defenders and good players on the o-line. More talent than a team picking 1.1 should have.

Florida - Pick 1.2. A couple of good players on the o-line but the talent drops off fast after that.

Texas - Pick 1.19. Definitely one of the more complete teams available.

San Fran - Pick 1.11. Has some talent but it is aging. Would be a good tear down/rebuild candidate. Very solid income statement but they are in a cap crunch.

Seattle - Pick 1.7. Some good young players.

We also have plans to resume our USFL Talk Radio show (draft previews, pre-season predictions, post season analysis, etc.). Adds to the FOF and specifically USFL league immersion.
