I think a lot of people are getting their payouts today. And/or the fact that it's unemployment pay day in my state. I'm judging this based on the reality that, for the first time ever, I can't log in to the website for the bank at all, or get through on toll-free phone line most of the time lately. Lots of people trying to do lots of things with their accounts, and naturally they're closed except for specific appointments at the physical location.

I got it yesterday, I spend around 200 buying the OA1 - OA7 series of Oriental Adventure modules for D&D from Amazon, the only series I don;t have. I spent $50 yesterday and today on doordash. I'll save the rest.

I got on the IRS website yesterday to put in my bank info (I paid the last two years). So, we will see when we get it. There is a few bucks going to things around the house, but the vast majority is going for getting my son moved into college this fall (hopefully).

We got a reduced amount.
We haven't seen our income slow at all. So it was not "needed"...a family "friend" more of acquaintance in our tiny town...our kids are roughly same age, is providing elder care for her mom. She works at the gas station after retiring from the school. Her mom fell a couple weeks ago, ambulance ride etc.

So she anonymously got our stimulus check.

I went on the IRS website the first day you could add your bank info (April 15?). I got mine today.
