Solecismic Software needs to stick to making games...

...rather than making predictions.

Well, I won't go in to that one...

What I'm hoping for is that while all the predictions are being made, Jim is working on one more patch for TCY. I'd love to start a new career with TCY but I kinda want to see if a new patch with all the conference moves is coming out anytime soon.

Anyone have any clue if that is going to happen this year? I'm not saying that Jim "has" to do this, I'm just wondering if he's going to.

I think he's working on a patch where Boise State is the best team in the NCAA

Based on what he's done in the past, I think it would be fairly safe to assume that if there is *not* a TCY2 this year, we'd see an update to TCY with new conference alignments, 2005 schedules, etc.

let's hope so anyway...not that Jim holds the key to my gaming time, but I'm dying to see just how well I could do with another Louisville career against Big East competition.

But then again, I watched the Syracuse/WVA game yesterday and I still gotta wonder just how "Big" the Big East is gonna be. *ick*

....and I'm personally using the fact that there hasn't been an update yet as evidence that TCY2 will be the next release.

I dunno...maybe I'll think that way after the 14th (last year's release date), but it does make a bit of sense. I'm also thinking that maybe since there was so much movement and 2 new teams to factor in, there won't be a patch and if there is it's just going to take a bit longer this time.

BTW cthomer, really sorry bout the Rutgers loss Saturday...but after seeing what I saw yesterday (Syracuse, WVA, and Louisville not really being all that impressive) I would not rule them out yet.

If there's a patch, the Big East better gets its BCS bid back.

in addition to the one you found, here's another one with a lot of well laid-out thoughts by a number of people (myself included):
