Board of Directors ballot

Presuming that some other FOOL doesn't want to be CEO, here is single ballot to elect an RL, CL and at-large rep for the Board of Directors.

The top vote getter in both leagues will be the selection from that league, the next highest vote getter from either league will be the pick for at-large. Their terms will last from the start of the 1973 season until the end of the 1977 season before we vote again.

I don't know who would be best for these positions at the moment, but I voted for Chief and Alan as somewhat of an initial honorary position for the first term based on their recent pefrormance.

Alan should be listed as CL by the way, but most people should know where Valdosta is after three painful seasons of them I think.

I appreciate the support, but I am going to echo what Alan said in the nominations thread. And that is that it may not be best for the top teams to be the BoD.

Also, I think it has been shown that my vision for the league doesn't always mesh with the league in general. I think my presence is good for discourse and as an element of change, but I would recommend someone who is better at balancing out opinions and more compromising than me.

For these reasons, I chose gstelmack for the RL, Cringer for the CL and Commo_Soldier for the at large.

Given Chief's comments and the vote totals, I think we can solidify that the CL rep will be Alan, the RL rep will be muns and Cringer will be the at-large member.

Frankly, I like Chief being on the outside keepin' them honest, because you KNOW he will.

Every league needs a guy like that...and I'm glad we have ours.

But Chief gets right of first refusal, of course.

How the hell did CR weasel his way out of this? Little bastard, did he say he wants stealing amped up? I'm 100% against it now.

Ok, I guess I will do this. DC better be an owner again soon though because this is pointless if that is not going to happen, and that is the only reason I am not complaining about it.
