Week 12

This game was very similar to Temple. Darian Sims did a wonderful job. It was against a weak defense, but Suhey struggled badly against Navy…..Sims threw a season high 4 TD passes. The defense was dominant. We held BYU to 124 yards passing, and 180 yards overall. Friede finished the game 6/32, and was sacked 6 times. We didn’t play down to the opponent, and made ourselves bowl eligible. It was a good week.

Week 11 gameball:

QB Darian Sims
21/32, 191 yards, and 4 TD passes. Managed the game well

Academic Eligibility: Ineligible
• WR KaRon Ridlehuber
• OT Ray Spilis
• CB Ollie Gurode
• SS Allan Cobb

Gurode and Spilis failed to regain playing status, but Ridlehuber, our #1 receiver, and Cobb, a contributor on defense really hurts…..I hope they will be available for our bowl game

We have a bye this week, so ill update our injury situation against Tennessee next week

Week 14:

Rodrik Suhey played his best game of the season, and he started very slow….He made that one huge mistake on the interception, but overall, he played well. His passes were accurate, he made good decision’s, and overall, im happy with his play. Woodall had a season high 160 yards on the ground. A nice road win in a tough place to play

Week 13 Gameball:

Zach Woodall
Zach scored 3 TD’s, while rushing for a season high 162

We have a bye this week, so I’ll update you on the currecnt BCS standings after week 14

Week 15

BCS standings

We close the regular season today against rival Boston College. It is also senior day, so ill try to get all seniors into the game. With a win, we will be 8-4, and looking at a fairly prestigious bowl. A loss sends us to 7-5, and a bowl towards the middle of December.

Injury Report:
• QB Jamaal Nichols is healthy, and will start
• QB Darian Sims is listed as probable, and will dress as the backup
• WR Leander Romanik is listed as probable, and will start at WR
• Boyce Neubert is probable, and will start at TE
• OG Elroy Harden will play today
• LB Alan Ruff is listed as probable, but I will save him for a bowl game

Up next: Boston College

I played out the Boston College game last night, but got an error which crashed the game....I saved it before the game, but i lost all the results for the game. We beat BC 30-9, and Jamal Nichols had a statement game, throwing for 437 yards, and 4 TD's. I just resimed the game, and here are the results.

Week 16:
Very frusterating that the game crashed, but Jamal still played very well in the makeup game. We are a different team when he’s at QB. Suhey and Sims are not at the same level. If Nichols returns for his senior season, and stays healthy, we are National title contenders. If he can’t stay healthy, I expect another 8-4 season

Week 15 Gameball:

QB Jamal Nichols
Jamal dominated, 19/24, 258 yards and 4 touchdowns

Accademic Eligibility:
• All player suspensions have been lifted with the post season approaching

The Award winners have been announced.
Here are the indivual award winners
• Heisman- QB ML Bortz, Syracuse(174.9 rating, 34/6 td/int)
