When it comes to basketball, it's about 4th on my list after hockey, baseball, and football.. and pro isn't even on my radar.

I do love college basketball once football has come to a close, but after purchasing this game, I'm hooked already!

Without further adu........

I started out on "rookie" with ratings of 30's accross the board and decided to take SE Missouri St. up on its offer of hiring me for $80,000 for 2 years. I know the area, so that's a plus as far as recruiting goes.

We packed up the kids and the house and headed south!

First day on the job and I meet with my coaching staff.

1st assistant coach is Thomas Miller. He's 38 has "very high" ambition, agrees with me that academics are low priority, has "very high" disipline and a similar "high" temper. I'm going to like this guy!

2nd assistant coach is Andrea Moreland. Don't need to say much more because he won't be here much longer.

3rd assistant coach is Mike Shipp. He will not be here much longer either.

New coaches!

Meet 2nd assistant coach, Jon Johnson. Jon is a disaplinary who knows offense. He also looks like a Drill Instructor.

Our new 3rd assistant coach is Juan Stokes. Juan is great with player development and has high ambition.. perfect.

I call the AD and tell him I would like him to schedule tough opponents, but at home - and I'll help when/if needed.

My philosophy is this, play tough opponents to prepare us for conference play, especially with a low prestige school like SEMO.

I also order "basic" recruiting guides from the Great Plains and Southeast areas.

I'm anxious to meet the team, but there is still some things that need to be taken care of.

We'll attend the Houston Classic, but I doubt there will be any recruits that will consider SEMO.

Recruiting starts! I've also been informed that a minimum score of 880 is required for entry into SEMO.

Redshirts

42 SF Shane Ahern, 6-6/208 (SO) Carthage, Mo

This guy has great potential and I have Saul Slay who will start this year and next.

54 C Wes Oliver, 6-7/234 (FR) Tipton, Mo

This guy has a 9 for inside shooting, but potential is so-so, still we're stacked here.

Recruiting

13 PG Ivan Young, 5-10/161 (SR) Perryville, Mo
21 SG Grant Price, 6-2/176 (SR) Kansas City, Mo
53 C Ray Simpson, 6-10/266 (SR) Dexter, Mo

SG is definitely a priority for me and from there, we'll see what's out there.

This game is so in depth. I've been studying my team, recruiting, etc... first time through I figure I'd go slow. Love the attention to detail.

I'm having a rough time recruiting anyone that can play basketball.

I second the sentiment Mizzou. A game that you can get lost in, but also a game that you can play even without being sucked into the game itself. (basic recruit and play gaming)

We start off at home against Drexel. We make an 11-0 point run to start the game and never look back, winning 73-65!

JR Forward Saul Slay is the player of the game with 16pts, 6 reb, and 1 steal.

I'm not sure why I'm getting an error when trying to access the html box score, but I've left a message over at Wolverine forums.

One thing I would like to mention, when playing a game Gary did one hell of a job improving on TCB and you really have to see it to appreciate all the hard work Gary has put into this game! I thought I would sim all of my games, but for now I'm having too much fun coaching and watching these games unfold. Seeing the size of the players via box size, REALLY adds to watching a game.

The drop-down box containing your name on the upper part of the screen can be dropped down to select Commissioner.

Try checking your alternate save folders. The game reports are only generated if the replay file is in that save folder.
