So which better Action PC Football or Second and Ten Football?
Just wanted to get everyone's input on these two games?

I'm going to go with Action PC since the first version of Second and Ten was obviously incomplete.

Incomplete how?
You get every NFL season in history with purchase. It is a streamlined game in terms of play options. However... When I had Action PC, my first year with the game was awesome. Then I played in a draft league and noticed some strange things. So I fiddled with some player/team ratings for the stock teams and found way too many instances where you could change player ratings and they would have no effect. Give a guy an all 10 offensive line and he still would run for the same yardage. I felt the game was designed to replicate the stats but nothing more and that no matter what you did coaching wise, drafting wise, etc. you were destined to have guys finish right about where they did in real life. |

That was what the kids call a joke. I've never heard of either game. If it's second and 10, they must have thrown an incompletion on 1st and 10.

Second and Ten and it's not even close IMO. The fact that you have to buy each season for Action PC while you get all NFL seasons since 1930-something is enough to have S&T way ahead of Action PC.
Second and Ten's interface is very atrocious, though. But like most UIs, once you get used to it and figure out where everything is, it's not that bad. |

I agree the interface is a bit clunky but there are so many freebies with the game already it is hard to pass up.
